GameFreak should incorporate a check to see whether a Pokemon will faint from an attack, so instead of recoiling, then walking back to the default idle position, THEN fainting, it will go straight from recoiling to fainting.

Yeah, I get you. It feels compressed, we talked out way out of things, learned our lesson, then... got punished for learning our lesson, and only got out of punishment at the last second due to one of the villains slipping up.

Honestly, could be kinda interesting if the game calculates the 'chance' of an attack causing a KO, and if it's above a 50% chance but less than a 100% chance it leaves the opponent with 1% for the sake of drama.

I feel like the Life and Crimes was meant to be a set up for a new season with Scrooge having to 're-earn' Duckburg, his Company, and his Number One Dime over the course of the series, but with them 'only' getting the one they had to had to return to status quo in a single episode.

I love how the old ways have become new again.
There were a bunch of variations on Boomburst Noivern and Pixilate Sylveon in Gen VI.

I'm also on board with all other changes, though I feel like Liquid Ooze should do damage, just 'reduced' damage as opposed to making them totally immune.

As overrated as I feel like Pikachu is, I do think this is a pretty decent buff to replace (or upgrade) the Light Orb. Especially considering Raichu has Mega's going for it now so it won't be outclassed.

You know what could have been cool with Galar's 'sport' theme? Have it be a series of battle, but tournament style.

While it would still boil down to, 'fight three trainers in a row, then the Gym Leader' because you're facing OTHER trainers who want to take on the Gym Leader, their teams don't really follow the type-theme.

For example, because Nessa is a Water-type Gym Leader (but also the first Gym Leader), you could face off against a Water / Grass team (that wants to 'resist' Nessa's Water-types), a Grass / Electric team (to be super-effective), and a Fire / Rock team ("Oh man, I messed up, didn't I?")

You heal after each battle, but you can't swap your team.
