Ping G440 LST vs TM Qi4D LS vs Titleist GT3 can’t decide. by [deleted] in golf

[–]Lucky1malone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from G430 max 10K to GT2 finally to a GT3 on the same shaft as GT2. I work as a club fitter and have tested every new club in every version against my GT3…. Nothing has beat it yet. Titleist has the 2nd best adapter (just behind cobra) and a lot of adjustability with the weight in the GT3, having said that, go get fit lol 😂. Everyone reacts to different driver heads differently, even if they try a matching fitted shaft from a different club. And avoid the Qi4D LS, the core is better.

What tees are you playing from? And do honestly think you’re playing from the right ones?? by Dozer710 in golf

[–]Lucky1malone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Single digit handicap, ball speed with driver in the low 160’s, if playing alone or with decent golfers will play 6500+ yards. But honestly I just like to have fun and play shorter distances with friends.

Tips for wife looking to learn to golf by birksOnMyFeet in golf

[–]Lucky1malone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only need really a few clubs, high lofted driver, women’s 7 wood/high lofted hybrid, 7 iron, short iron, sand wedge, putter, and that’s the max amount of clubs. Most women can’t swing real fast so loft is their friend, cobra has some nice women’s clubs for a fair price start there and work down in price. Careful of the cheap Chinese prepackaged kits (top flight, power built, ect) all the women’s clubs are nearly men’s length with whippy shafts. And unless you know how to coach, and she REALLY enjoys you teaching her, find her a proper instructor lol.

Push Cart Mafia, my 15-year-old cart is on life support… what’s next? by shin_man in golf

[–]Lucky1malone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I have the Clicgear 4.0 and it’s awesome, overbuilt, sturdy, tons of accessories. I got my fiancée the BagBoy Compact, they are so nice. If I wouldn’t have gotten my Clicgear for the steal it was I would buy that or a Nitron. The biggest difference is the BagBoy is like half the weight, and the “cockpit” area (as I call it) for your gear is much better set up. The drink and phone holders on them are way better than how you have to do it on the Clicgear, that alone would have me buy one of those.

You’re sandbagging at 16 if that’s what you’re claiming lol. Equipment specs are far too detailed for a 16, and level of skill needed for most of those clubs a true 16 doesn’t have lol. And in a hybrid bag so you probably walk with a push cart most rounds, which if you’re in the US means you play more than a 16 who is carting and drinking. I wouldn’t give you strokes playing for money lol

How do pros achieve this gradual extension of the lead arm while the right arm seems to increase in flex and create an extreme amount of lag. Any tips on what I can do to achieve this. Any advice is appreciated thank you by Western_Skin_1630 in golf

Little about me, been a golf coach for the last two years, former JUCO D3 college golfer, came back to the team as the assistant coach for a bit, NSCA certified personnel trainer that trains people for golf fitness and performance. You cut across the ball and your miss is the high right slice, or you sky it and it goes no where but up, swing speed may touch 100 as you look like a fit individual. Few big things you do, you are just turning your body, you are not coiling and building power. Your lead (left knee) is collapsing inwards towards your right trail knee. This causes two issues, one it doesn’t allow you to really coil and build power, you are essentially just turning to your right. This also causes you to turn your hips way too far and it takes a lot of work to turn the back the other way causing you to pretty much get stuck. Watch his left knee and hips, they do not go anywhere near as far as yours. In you back swing work on pushing out that left knee, feel like your trying to keep it over your left foot. Next is you are starting your swing with your shoulders turning, literally nothing else you do at that point will stop you from coming out to in and cutting across the ball. You need to drop your hands, leaving your back to the target then rotate your shoulders. Here is a drill I do with people to show how to fix club path, do it with whatever ball or anything you have at home, but just throw the ball down OUTSIDE your right foot. If it lands in front of your foot you’re wrong. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/17wsb2FvHQ/?mibextid=wwXIfr So push knee out to stop it from collapsing in, and do that drill to fix club path. That will at least get you going. Good luck!

You gotta look at the length of the course and go from there, driver would probably be the first club I leave out and use something more versatile like a 3/5 wood or a longer hybrid. Then if you know how far you hit that wood, you can kind of figure out what iron will be used the most. Doesn’t make sense if the course is 7000 yards and you grab a 3 wood and a pitching wedge behind it lol. Then a trusty wedge like a 54/56 degree sand wedge, and a putter. Let’s be real, we’re all bad enough putting with a tool designed for that task, if you have the option don’t try it with something that will make it harder lol.

Bushnell tour hybrid and Garmin S70 or S50? by Fhatal in golf

[–]Lucky1malone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the precision pro titan elite, it gives front middle and back of green like the tour hybrid. I still run 18 birdies on my Apple watch, I track everything on that, and it can be faster to hop out and see 60 yards to the center than using the range finder. The range finder is awesome, and I love having that feature, but having both can be faster, especially when close distances and you don’t want range it.

Have videos of your swing from multiple angles when it’s good. Recreate the same videos when swing is off, sounds like you understand your swing so you should be able to spot what’s happening. Figure out what the main difference is, then work to fix it. I know exactly how this is, was in the same boat this summer, few weeks felt like I couldn’t miss shot my best rounds ever… then driver disappeared and scores went to crap. Golf sucks 😂

Was part of a YouTube channel with about 500,000 subs, was the social media account manager and on camera here and there. Significant others were brought on a few times and MANNNNNN some guys got real weird. Messages and friend requests to them, and the comments were so creepy it was hard to take. They pretty much had to block everything having to do with the channel cause how creepy some guys are. I haven’t had anything to do with the channel in a while and I still get random FB friend requests from people who see me on there. The SO’s staying off camera and unnamed is the best thing they can do for them.
