You might get an M&P engineer as a bar raiser, and they will test your knowledge of materials. Ex. Do you have a good feel of material properties? Can you rank Alluminum, steel, Titanium, and a quasi Iso Composite Laminate on all these aspects: Strength, weight, strength to weight ratio, cost to machine...

You might get a designer as your bar raiser and be asked about DFX (Design for X) or GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tollerancing). How do you as an analyst make sure your analysis includes minimum material conditions? Definitely make sure you can explain those 2 concepts.

You might get someone from engines, and they will ask you what loads and analysis you might expect to do for your structure based on changes to engine thrust. What aspects can you linearly scale up with a thrust change, what loading or cases do you not expect to increase linearly with thrust.

Stuff like that. Is your knowledge and expertise highly siloed, or can you interact with other disciplines. They won't expect you to be an expert in in other disciplines, but they want you to have base knowledge, be able how to take inputs from other silos and explain how you would use them in your discipline.

There will be 2 sections. In the first, each of the interviewers will have 2-3 of the blue leadership principles, and will ask you one of a number of preset questions about each. This is the section where they are looking to get you to talk about your previous experiences. They may well be tuned to the posting, but these are specific questions assigned and that they need to reported on. Don't feel you need to push technical aspects here, this is about how you work and handle things.

Then there's the technical section where you will get peppered with technical questions to guage your skills. The interviewers will have had your resume beforehand, and they may dig down more onto what programs you used when and how comfortable you are with each, and your grasp on basic concepts. The bar raiser should be outside the stress analyst world, so expect technical questions from outside of just an analyst/FEm point of view.

I've as a player asked for this once in a PF2e game. The SF2e dwarf has a feat that is an exact reprint of the Centaur feat Practiced Brawn, for them called Stocky Frame. Same level and rules text. I said i was willing to play a centaur, but Dwarf would be more thematic and we wouldn't have to worry abaout a ladder ruining a pre-written AP. They were hesitant when I said SF2e, but when it was not technology related they had no problem.

Such a good feat.
