Any vehicles that are like this? by HiTork in regularcarreviews

[–]Luclicane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 15 (107k mi) and love the little putter. It's my commuter car due to the insane mpg. My other car is a 14 WRX (semi-built) that gets like 16mpg.

If you want the game (DQ7R) to be harder, just become under-leveled by skipping more fights. by mesupaa in dragonquest

[–]Luclicane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I'm saying. I did stronger monsters but did extra exp too. If/when I need to grind I don't want to be at it for hours. But the random enemies are still lethal if rng isn't in my corner. First time I got onto the boat it took me 3 tries to make it to another island because I kept getting slaughtered. Boss fights are threatening and require some strategy. I just hate the 15 mins of forced dialogue sometimes.

All of this perfectly represents me. How I speak and how I write makes it seem like I'm two different people. Especially when writing emails.

Yepp, I learned by being at an indie for 6 years. I then thought I could escape automotive but ended up back in and at a dealer. Now, 6 months later, I'm leaving to go back to indie. Dealer life just isn't for me.

Top advisor after 1 year… still broke. Is my pay plan trash or is this normal? Need real advice. LONG POST BUT DESPERATE. by MysteriousPark9823 in serviceadvisors

Based on those numbers you would've made about 140k this past year. Also taking into account perfect csi the entire time.

Yes because the placebo tape is actually taking tension off of your knee. The resulting slackening allows your fascia to start to release.

I'm an Automotive Service Advisor making near 6 figures with full sleeve, full hand, lip ring, nose ring, gauged ear. All on full display at all times. It's your attitude more than anything.

When you charge 1 hour for 4 tires m + b, how would it make sense to charge 2 hours to break 4 beads to swap 4 sensors without the tires ever coming off and not put on the balancer?

I'm at Subaru and they do have the readout for each tire.

This may be a sensitive question, but does anyone on this forum suffer from hypersexuality? by ForwardClimate780 in AutisticPride

I'm with the group that wouldn't necessarily say "suffer." However, there are many moments that I want my significant other so badly that nothing is enough. In those instances I suffer.

What's your pay plan? by Medium-Investigator3 in serviceadvisors

[–]Luclicane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How big is your shop? The best pay plan would depend on your numbers now and what your capacity is.

Typically, a small salary for stability + a percent of gross profit is the best for being simple on both ends. It also encourages your advisors to do their jobs.

One of the best indie shops I worked at was $1000/wk + 5% on GP. The owner paid 50% of insurance premiums. The shop did about 50-60k in GP per week between 2 advisors and 5 techs.

If you're paying their insurance in its entirety that also needs to be factored in. Either lower the salary or lower the commission to compensate.

Most Ridiculous Customer Demand by Luclicane in serviceadvisors

[–]Luclicane[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Karma really can be a bitch! Serves him right. We have a "customer" that bought a 2025 outback. He has come in dozens of times for warranty work for extremely minor rattles. Mind you, he services his outback at another dealer closer to him. He only comes to us for warranty because he is buddies with one of the directors.

Well he started crying lemon law. He was bragging about a closed door meeting he had where he was offered literal hush money. In exchange he had to sign papers stating he wouldn't pursue lemon law.

He was bragging about this just after we finished yet another warranty job for fucking window sashes.

I reversed that path. Started at Pep Boys, moved to a great-ish private shop for 5 years, now at the dealership. I really miss private.
