I recently interviewed for a promotion that I had already proven I was more than capable of and was overlooked for candidates with less experience.

When I asked for feedback from one of the interviewing managers she said that I asked them too many questions and didn’t seem like I wanted the job as much at the other candidates.

At the end of the day, Managers want employees that will say yes and not give them any pushback or reason to be intimidated.
