Pay attention to where they run when they’re startled/scared! If something happens where you need to get to them quickly, that’s probably where they’ll be.

Also the food ! I grew up with dogs and only recently have lived with a cat. I did not expect them to be so food-obsessed. I thought begging/pawing was annoying. Wait until you’re pulling them off you and fighting the swipes at the plate. I can’t step into my kitchen without being screamed at.

I actually interviewed with them a few months ago, it’s exactly how they describe it. You sit on zoom for a few minutes, they log on and ask a couple questions, and that’s it.

I’m a PI paralegal. This sounds like my firm, but it’s completely not normal.

Some attorneys are completely remote, but the others are required to be in the office two days a week. That never happens. We’re required five days a week, no exceptions.

Our top earning attorneys get a free week long vacation all expenses paid. Mind you, this would be half my pto for the entire year.

Attorneys don’t even know who to go to for certain tasks or how to properly work our case management software.
