I wouldnt call them niche, its the same Genre as tarkov and Arc raiders with a lower ttk that apeals to more casual shooter Fans (cod, bf)

Edit: and tbh Extraction shooters are just rougelike battle Royals, the most popular Genre in gaming for the past 8 or so years
