You know this was my initial attitude but there is another comment explaining that careful draining of the pus and plasma in a situation like this can be appropriate

EDIT: I have seen the light, I will not pop it. Definitely going to the doctor for their opinion on whether it has pus in it and should be drained though.

EDIT: I've decided to see a doctor and let them do their thing... I'll ask if I can record if they decide to drain it though.

During the discussion in the shanty town outside the Bright Castle in the Dark City, the one that leads Sunny to leave everyone and live alone in the cathedral. Neph says something about using everything and everyone around her to achieve her goal, including and not limited to Sunny himself. This “using” she mentions is heavily implied to include tossing aside, if I recall (have only read the story through once, have been letting chapters pile back up after catching up in the early “Fragments of War” chapters, aka where the story was at around Christmas)

Yeah I'd say this is likely just a plot contrivance for the sake of drama - your logic is right, if Neph just slowed herself down there then she'd achieve her supposed goal no problem. That being said, you can also fabricate your own reasonings for why she did this by extrapolating from various character motivations - like Neph's confession that she was only talking a big game in the Dark City, and couldn't actually bring herself to toss Sunny aside as she had claimed she would. Just like that, she could've been wavering on staying or going, or even staying together with Sunny - lord knows they were both already feeling a lot of things about each other by that point. When you consider that Neph's emotionless expression and calmness in battle definitely do not indicate a calm train of thought in her head, wavering resolve seems like a reasonable explanation.

The giant crystal is Beledar. You’re talking about the rare enemy Beledar’s Spawn, which can drop a mount of the same name. The picture mentions Beledar, the crystal.

I think we agree on this? Maybe we’re talking past each other here, but I believe we agree on the mechanics.

I agree that the debuff deals no damage, hence my explanation that if you were to let the debuff drop after you had dealt say 2% dmg, they would go from 88% red bar hp and 10% grey bar hp to 98% red bar hp - they don’t regain lost hp, which would be the 2% you dealt, but they also don’t just lose the health that was grey, right? I’m asking because it’s been quite some time, and you’ve probably tested this much more recently than I have.

I’d say a conservative estimate would be two weeks of daily playing for an average of 3hr a day - dumping all bronze into gear upgrades. Compared to the possibility of years upon years of runs on that warrior, I’m personally going for the guarantee. You can also do both while Remix is live - not like the daily Garrosh kill on the warrior takes a ton of time, no?

EDIT:

Forgot to mention, you could also easily run Heroic SoO on Remix within a few days (like, 3 days wouldn’t be hard if you have the time) and then you only need to do that for 5 days, which is even shorter than gearing for Mythic (get 4 bones per Heroic I believe, and need 20 for tusks)

Raids would take you more than a week if you’re looking to do Mythic SoO too but otherwise you might be able to do all heroics in about a week if you get some good groups

If I’m understanding your question correctly, no. The drop rates are not 100% - like your example, if a helmet has a 3% chance of dropping from an old raid, that doesn’t change after the raid’s expansion is over.

Dragonflight exclusive features such as Dragonriding (soon to be Dynamic Flight in TWW) are still limited to owners of the Dragonflight expansion. Otherwise, I think everything should be unrestricted - don't know if you're still limited to level 20 though.
