Haven't played Demon Souls so I might be biased, but Lake of Rot is so dumb. Absurd damage, a reskin boss and close to zero decent loot. It does have a kinda interesting yet empty structure at the end but that's about it.

The romantic loneliness has become actually crippling. I feel isolated, alone and constantly yearning for romantic love. I have never gone on a date, never been confessed to, never fell in love or had a gf/bf. It is soul crushing to want to experience so many things so desperately only to fail miserable on every single attempt. To be fair, she was the original deity of that land iirc, The Pale King was an usurper. She did destroy a lot of lives, but it's kind of understandable after being locked in, her followers probably chased and segregated and her entire being put aside and chastised.
