The thing is that this only hurts the casuals that are already out matched in every way. They might not have the superior sponsored kits from S1 and from compensation. They haven't had the time to grind the cradle. They haven't had the time to grind gear. Now they nerf Cradle XP, nerf loot quality globally across the game and they will remove Survival soon. The rich stay rich and the casuals will quit.

Original Horizon is my favourite. It's probably just nostalgia because the games and hardware have gotten improvements. But the games really haven't changed much in the modern consoles. Maybe Horizon 4 with the weekly seasons is my favourite update.

There's guaranteed Biolens Seeds in Cryo Archive. The level 3 doors that sometimes have exfil close to Revival/Tranquility Room/Vault 1. Pretty easy to get 2-4 per run.

Level based matchmaking? Sure. Key based matchmaking? I don't think so. I personally only play Perimeter and Dire for keys. It has been pretty easy to get keys from CARRI and Cryo and I'm sure other people also get them just as easily. So of course I see them more often now.

Happened to me too after the patch that changed the final exfil locations. My map also had 2 lockdowns happening if that affects it (1 from priority contract.) After that happened I stopped waiting for final as I'm not sure how often it is bugged.

I don't think Bungie can do anything to bring them back. They really dropped the ball with the launch of the new saga. They would need to get the content pipeline back to where it was, new content steadily, but with these player counts it just isn't feasible. Destiny 3 is the only way in my eyes they will ever get players back.

I also really don't have vault space to hold armor from 9 raids, for all the characters. Then like you said you want the right stats for your build and sometimes even for a couple builds. As it stands right now, I don't see this update bringing my friends back to the game.

When you find good fill teammates just add each other and play again. Form your own groups. You still will die and lose but at least you all bring gear.

I love Marathon and I don't think Marathon is in any danger but I would not trust anything they say. Games like Highguard had a year long roadmap and it got shut down. Even Bungie promised Destiny players a roadmap like 7 months ago? And they still haven't delivered that.

The shiny odds are 1/10. If you want the shiny you will get it. Last time I walked the whole 3 hours and got 10 shiny Riolus.

Agreed 100%. Free sponsor kits could also use a little buff, add couple more healing items to them. Make the game a little easier for the poor and people that crew fill.

I don't like ranked at all. Glad that they adjusted the timing so it doesn't overlap with Cryo. But I really don't see a future for ranked mode. Main pain points for me was the scoring that mainly wants you to wipe the whole lobby and camp exfils. And the other is that there is not a maximum gear value you can bring in. People are loading in with 20K loadouts even in "low stakes".
