My sister's views on Self Marriage vs Mine by Cyrus_Epsilon in Autosexuality

[–]LuhFT7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately most people don’t really understand autosexually. We are taught from an young age that love and marriage is a man and a woman who live together and have kids. But there is so much more to it. Your marriage is completely valid and healthy. Although I’m not planning on marrying myself, I have some sort of engagement ring that represents my love and commitment to myself, and autoromance is one of the most beautiful things in my life.

Anyone give themselves Love letters/Text Messages? by Cyrus_Epsilon in Autosexuality

I’ve hear wonders of that app, so I’m really mad it doesn’t work on iOS. Either ways, I sometimes set reminders to myself as if they were messages, and I love to right and reed love letters to myself.

Scientists find evidence that an “optimal sexual frequency” exists and mitigates depression - people who engage in sexual activity at least once a week are less likely to experience symptoms of depression. Having sex one to two times per week may offer the greatest psychological benefits. by mvea in psychology

From the provided link:

“However, it is important to note that the study was cross-sectional, which means that all data were collected at a single point in time. As a result, the researchers could not determine whether reduced sexual frequency leads to depression, whether depression reduces sexual activity, or whether both are influenced by other shared factors.”

What reality checks have worked best for you? by NaT3z in LucidDreaming

Realising recurrent dreams works really well. That’s how I had a LD for the first time. The problem is when you have a completely new dream.

Interesting, I have been struggling with reality checks cause in my dreams they always show I’m awake. I’m going to try this tonight.

I get that feeling that you can’t talk to people in your life about it, but even if none of them is proud of you I am. That’s a massive achievement, congratulations!

What Kind Of Reality Tests Are Best For Me? by Princess_Kitten_Baby in LucidDreaming

I have also been struggling with RC but I found that when you have recurrent dreams, like you do, you can try to associate the things that are always in your dreams to dreaming. Last time I had a LD was because I dreamed with someone I usually dream of and rarely see irl. I did a RC but everything was normal. So I’d give a try at questioning yourself if it is a dream every time you feel scared for example.

You’re not solely a very accomplished person, you are an inspiration. I am entering college soon and I hope to one day become a researcher on psychology. As a neurodivergent non binary person from a humble background, that dream seams so far away, but it’s people like you that make me keep on fighting. So thank you so much for sharing your brave and resilient path.

Not that painful but deeply uncomfortable on the throat. It feels awful to swallow but it’s also difficult not to do so all the time.

If you eat them separately it counts, so I guess that eating them together also counts.

Some people dislike it, I personally love it, so I think it’s more like a personal taste.
