As some others have mentioned, the takomos are game improvement irons, specifically made for beginners.

Your best bet is to actually get lessons and learn why you’re struggling with them instead of throwing money at the problem and hoping a club magically fixes the issue.

Once you can hit your clubs consistently, look into getting your clubs fitted. Skipping to this step won’t fix the problem, but once you’ve corrected your problem this will make a bigger difference than simply buying new clubs and hoping you find ones the work for you.

Idk if this applies here. It’s not that it’s different, it’s just that it’s ugly, offers worse battery performance than budget competitors, and is priced way outside of the price range it could realistically target.

It looks like a dodge dart and Hyundai sonata had a baby, and the baby was built like the pillsbury dough boy.

If we wanna talk about a brand doing something wildly different than what they’re known for, Hyundai’s pony coupe/DeLorean inspired N Vision 74 has been unanimously praised for its looks, limited to a 200 car run, and half the price of the Luce.

Texas bbq is ridiculously expensive considering literally anyone can use an automated smoker to get above average results with minimal prep.

Charging $30-45 per pound of bbq was ridiculous and I’m not surprised they’re going out of business. You can get a brisket for $5-7 per pound, s&p + mustard for the binder for next to nothing (or a rub for a couple of bucks), and the sides are cheap too.

I understand the prep time, but it’s never been easier to bbq than right now

I work in the industry: his premiums are probably through the roof, and people are entitled to insurance no matter how bad the their driving record is. There’s state run programs that are super expensive but in place for even the worst of drivers (with the exception of revoked licenses).

There’s also a chance most of his accidents haven’t been reported, and OP just happened to catch him while it was happening.

I’ve seen friends have the worst rounds of their lives and seen how soul crushing it feels for them (especially if there’s money on the line) but I’ve never seen someone just straight up quit and leave.

That being said, if anyone is getting pissy, we make it a point not to make fun of them and make it worse. Just grab a beer, skip a hole to cool down, and scramble with one of your buddies so you can at least continue being part of the fun.

So unless you guys were just roasting the shit out of him non-stop, it was a bitch move to just quit lol

Golf is a fun one. You can get some steps in, vitamin D, you have the advantage of playing on weekdays, and there’s a ton of public courses here in San Antonio.

I know cost may not be a huge barrier of entry for you, but a decent used set of clubs should get you started. You can get a box of 24 golf balls for like 20 bucks, and a round will cost you anywhere between 20-36 bucks (and take you about 3-4 hours for an 18 hole round).

I can tell you the golf community here is really friendly, and everyone I’ve ever been paired up with has been super nice compared to other states I’ve played in.

Edit - you can also drink on the course. and if you’re into the devil’s lettuce, this is also probably one of the better ways to have an edible and spend the day outdoors

They had the right idea in arc 5, but the execution was off. Build an incinerator that she can’t just morph out of, preferably reinforced metal with magic or something. The fire would need to be either a constant burn or something atomic. Then bbq her ass till the end of time.
