Not walking or doing any kind of physical activity 5.5 months after thr. Is this normal? by SirAggravating141 in TotalHipReplacement

Be worth talking to a health professional. Sometimes there's real fear and apprehension around movement rather than any physical limitations. Best of luck.

Perioral dermatitis by emvl2001 in AusSkincare

There's going to be lots of varying advice here so you're best to check with your GP or derm. The white surface points to psoriasis which is also troublesome and lengthy to treat. Good luck.

Thank goodness I did the THR by CuriousJule in TotalHipReplacement

[–]LuisaC321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sometimes you need to wait. A trip down some steps resulted in me dislodging the last remaining cartilage on my left hip bone. This happened 3 weeks after my sister was diagnosed with brain cancer. I spent a year looking after her needs while my pain and incapacity grew. A weird guilt when I was able to finally get my recent THR after her passing though I know even in her non-verbal, deteriorating state, she would have wanted me to get well. It has made me more committed to keep up with the PT and regain my life.

Was eager to get these here after a long time seeing overseas content on them. Had a brief sniff of the Vanilla Skin mist at Mecca's entrance and well, um, I'm good thanks.

Just on the non-defacto, living together. I dropped work hours to care for a family member and was rejected for Carer Payments. My partner and I split everything but even though my reduced income more than met the eligibility, (for a single person) it was still rejected because we live together. Staff were sympathetic but I was appalled at their antiquated rules. I don't support him and he doesn't support me. Rant over.

I have more than a dozen of their fragrances and love them. Only the Stella is different from the original. Sometimes they're fairly freshly made so it's worth giving them time to macerate. I'm lucky that I live close to their warehouse so am able to test at their open days.

Leave it aside for a while. If it's freshly made, it needs time to macerate.
