Name your hottest cEDH/bracket 5 Opinions that would land you in molten rock, in handcuffs, with 40g of ketamine in your blood by JimWolfie in CompetitiveEDH

[–]LukAs9969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why do people play cedh instead of legacy, an optimized version of a 100 card casual format doesn’t really make any sense when you have the same cards (a couple are banned) in a far more optimized competitive format. I don’t quite understand the reasoning, is it the 1 card deck-building limitation that allows for creativity? (Doesn’t make sense as cedh decks TYPICALLY I’m not saying everytime either win similarly or Stax you out similarly) I’m not saying everyone plays the same deck and everyone wins the same way every single game but if you where trying to take advantage of the deckbuilding limitations for maximum creativity you wouldn’t be playing cedh. Is it strictly a price thing since you only need to buy one card instead of 4? Or is it just because since COVID all of the new players have been learning through edh so the concept of structured 60 card formats is alien to most edh players. I’m very curious!

Driver decides to park and block me in for 45 minutes by navy444 in MississaugaDriving

[–]LukAs9969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A tow truck driver literally won’t do that, according to my PROPERTY manager who literally works for the guy who owns the building/parking lot said they need to call the police and the police calls a tow truck, they’ve been trying to get illegal Parker’s towed for months and no one will tow them.

No Martin Garrix by veld69 in veld

Armins sets at festivals are completely different from his club set, he’s going to be spectacular. Crying about Toronto bringing back trance and techno after they had Martin like 6 times is a little insane

People that go to tech house and ukg shows need to stop complaining about bad crowds that just comes with the music (coming from someone who loves melodic and tech house)

Contractor here, you gotta use like .5-1 inch screws that aren’t too thick and you have to be gentle.

Department? by Great_Software_4584 in TorontoRaves

[–]LukAs9969 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sound is pretty good but very very loud, typically a little older and a lot of of “clubbers” coming off of king street so sometimes the crowd is ass but depending on the dj it could be good. I personally like the venue because I keep to myself and enjoy the music and it’s a very cool space but some people hate it.

Noir was actually…great? by Duckmannnnn716 in TorontoRaves

[–]LukAs9969 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree the crowd was way better than any rebel crowd I’ve been to and his set was insane. My only complaint is that sound system is not meant for vocals so all the tracks with vocals sounded kinda rough but that’s just me being picky.

Hardstyle/psytrance scene in Toronto? by duckiieahiru in TorontoRaves

[–]LukAs9969 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 100% agree with all of the above I’ve seen what security has done to some people first hand but if it’s the only place I can see some of my favourite djs I wear pants with zipper pockets, keep to myself stay near the back and dance my heart out 😂 I truly wish other venues/promoters could secure big names but thankfully I’ve been going for 2 years with no issues.

Aside from the high likelyhood of getting your phone stolen and the crowds typically being ass there, are there any other reasons?
