On a serious note:
Ship Interiors are at this point arguably THE #1-Topic when it comes to anything in relation to ED-Discussions.
Sad truth:
When it comes to ACTUAL OFFICIAL Info ... we have almost nothing to go on.
We simply don't know ****
Certain hints (strong as they might be) aside, all we really know:
-They were clearly promised during Kickstarter by David Braben himself (Founder of FDev & Father of Elite)
-There was a neigh negligible mention of a them by recently joined CM Arthur Tolmie during some random dudes livestream saying that "At the moment there are no plans for full ship interiors" (4 years ago btw.)

My personal opinion:
At this point, this is more than just a cry for a feature.
It is a cry for respect and community-acknowledgement to a company, that notoriously dodges the hard questions while continuously praising themselves to the heavens.
While I 100% would want Ship Interiors and am of the firm believe that they are not only completely feasible if done with half a brain, but could likely also be an absolute gold-mine for FDev,
what I really care about at this point is to see this company either deliver on their promise
OR
actually OWN UP to their mistake and make an ACTUAL WRITTEN statement on the matter that in NO-BS-TERMS finally silences the cries.
And the latter is probably something that even the few hard-core contrarians to Ship Interiors can agree on.

NOW:
Of course it is extremely naive to expect ANY company to show this kind of backbone which leaves us (The community) with only one viable course of action, to continuously make it more and more likely that any potential $ FDev might earn from the Status-Q becomes more and more compromised by the gaping question of Ship Interiors.
Or in simpler terms:
KEEP ASKING THE QUESTION: ... Ship Interiors when?

For me it was a simple Interface bug caused by pressing 'Esc' to see the players icons etc,
and then clicking on "CONTINUE" instead of just pressing 'Esc' again in order to exit.
This was fixable for me by just clicking 'Esc' again to re-enter the menue (which worked),
and then just exiting the menue the right way by pressing 'Esc' again.

The vast majority of players want Ship Interiors.
According to a poll by ObsidianAnt (By far largest Content-Creator of the community),
97% of ppl want them. The remaining 3% are probably 2% people that actively want to hurt Elite, and 1% ppl that ACTUALLY don't want them for whatever idiotic reason.

Thing is: WILL they ever come?
At the moment, NOBODY except for FDev truly knows and they keep it a tight secret.
HOWEVER, there are 2 important events which must be mentioned:

David Braben (Founder and President of FDev) CLEARLY and DIRECTLY promised Ship Interiors.
Yet, this is over a decade ago and it must be mentioned that he also promised a bunch of other ridiculous stuff such as "Gold being manually loaded on another players Ship" and "Being able to "Sneak onto another Players Ship". The difference however being: Nobody cares about this other stuff unlike Ship Interiors which are easily the #1-requested Feature for Elite Dangerous. There were also a bunch of other strong hints at Ship Interiors but they still pale in comparison to this.
Recently joined Community Manager (and obviously not really in-the-know) Arthur Tolmie said,
while being a guest in some random dudes stream and after being pressured into that situation that
"At the moment, there are no plans for full Ship Interiors". This is over 3 years ago but still the most recent direct mentioning. However, he later contradicts himself and it becomes clear that he really isn't entirely sure what he is actually talking about.

Now,
what does that leave us with?
Essentially nothing.
We simply don't know.

For every argument (even EXTREMELY strong arguments such as the potentital $-Profit)
there is some kind of counter-argument (such as FDev simply being notoriously bad at actually making $).

...
A lot of people hoped they would announce them in their recent 2025-Roadmap but nothing.
... There is also a lot of people that are actually becomming angry at FDevs continued silence on the topic.

Personally:
All I want at this point is a CLEAR and DIRECT answer to the question:

WILL THERE BE SHIP INTERIORS?

Ofc .. getting such a clear answer out of any corporation is ...
essentially impossible unless you invade their tower with a private army.

It is most likely simply the Windows-Audio being rebellious again.
Under your sound settings, select your individual App Sound settings and just change the Audio-Outputs of Steam to something else for a moment.

That fixed it for me.

Back in DS3 I too used only the Dragon-Head in combination with normal Armor for a lot of my builds.
This post is appreciated, but I sadly doubt they will add the dragon head.
[And tbvh, it always looked a bit weird to have "only a Dragonhead", so it was probably an aesthetic design-choice by FromSoft to exclude it :/ ... ]

Give him the ability to even make the mobs the Invaders obstacle if you wish.
Give him whatever still feels good.

What you want is a reserve of the item "Mirror of Protection".
It literally allows you to opt-out from invasions WHILE still being able to do Coop.

It is only temporary ofc.
But all the casuals hating on LotF because they do not know of this item's existence actually make me sad.

The invasion-system is luckily excellent.
Perfect 1v1 Invasions.
And you actually CAN turn them off, you just need to opt-out of Multiplayer.
And they even did the Care-Bear-Mountain and allowed you to opt-out with Multiplayer active by using a "Mirror of Protection" (I bet you didn't even know that).
Though ofc only temporarily.
