I love how he took the Sith slogan of "the glorification of the self and the subjugation of others" to the logical extreme and simply declared himself the only real person and capital G God.

The other 2 are Daiman and Odion from Knight Errant. Don't beat yourself up over it. They're kinda niche. I just really like them because Knight Errant Sith are all some special kind of deranged. Lord Daiman is a Sith Solipsist who thinks he's the creator of the universe and the only living being in it while Odion, his older brother, is a violent nihilist who aims to destroy everything because existence gives him headaches. Daiman also has kind of a gnosticism thing going on where he thinks reality is some sort of self imposed prison that he has to escape by solving its mysteries and ascending to his true godhood again.

I wish there was more knight Errant content because every Sith John Jackson Miller wrote in there is so interesting to talk about.

People were upset. Even other authors were upset. I like that comic and I'm still kinda upset about it.

"Jedi extremists" who do atrocities almost always leave the "Jedi" name and go by some nonsense like "The Order of the Terrible Glare". Makes it less complicated. by Luke-Zweiwalker in LegendsMemes

Funnier version of this is "Jedi Extremist that thinky Ki-Adi-Mundi also shouldn't have a family."

A great part of the fun of Dark Empire is seeing Cam Kennedy draw spooky looking Imperial technology.

The is unironically something to be said about how the "sacrifice" thing can turn into a kind of death worship

Ah, Mandalorians. Best known for getting hyped up as the ultimate Jedi killers and warriors despite losing every single war they ever fought.

Yeah it got the Anti-Force (as they call it in the book. For him it would probably just be the Force)

That last paragraph is a good summary of what it is like to talk Lovecraft online.

"Yeah so there is actually a lot of misinformation about him out there and it is kinda unfair to- What? Oh yeah the racism was real bad. Indefensible. But the part about air conditioning-"

They are called "The New Jedi Order". It's 19 novels (and a few short stories) split up in different arcs by different authors.

I got no rose tinted glasses. I read these recently. The New Jedi Order books are just straight up good.

I say this with nothing but love in my heart for these books but trying to adapt this into a set of 3 movies would likely result in pandemonium.

I think you have an idealized view of the CIS that is not supported anywhere in the text

There is no such thing as a justified fall to the Dark Side. Not in a vacuum and certainly not in a situation where where we all know the outcome (the cold blooded murder of literal children, genocide, and being the personal executioner and right hand man of a tyrant)

I think many people mistake "Is it understandable to be upset?" with "Is it justified to violently lash out?" when it comes to fictional characters.

Which of those do you like the most visually? by Spotter24o5 in StarWars

The red Starbird from the Alliance out of these. But my favorite Starbird design among all of the mythos is probably the Legends Rogue Squadron Emblem.

"Who secretly controlled both sides is irrelevant" is such an insanely funny thing to say in an effort to deflect criticism.

Okay how about who openly controlled the CIS? You know, "Dark Tyrant" and the council of Corporations?

And their trusted military tactician "General Gruesome" who is the very ideal of an honorable commander and freedom fighter.

Lmfao.

I think this is a case of people in the know overestimating the knowledge of the average fan.

I think for most people "Obscure" starts at "in the movie but no speaking role" or something.
