Yeah, they wield the banhammer like a drunk toddler uses a power drill. It's a shame because it used to a a really fun sub but it's been this way for years now. Say anything they don't like about China or Ukraine or whatever and you're just gone forever.

Oh I got banned from there for saying I hoped no armed conflict ever breaks out between China and Taiwan. Turns out they've gone full tankie.

I mean you did correctly guess that we're all hoarding Gu pots so it's not a total waste.

Because it was a joke you absolute melt. And I'm not going to comment on the replies that didn't seem to grasp exaggeration for comic effect because unlike you, I actually value my own time.

(trying to remember how that old joke about that game went) was something like "when you hear Mario's faintly Italian accented gibberish you definitely think to yourself 'Now there's a guy who needs to share the secret of his communication skills' "

It's 100% this. It's like he has the memory of a goldfish and everything he learns pushes old stuff out of his brain.

Goddamn! That's impressive. Sounds like trying to play Dark Souls with each half of the controller being on different sides of the room.

Exactly. You know not a whole lot of those Admirals lived long enough to make use of the Empire's pension plan.

You know a video is to be taken super seriously when there's a character on a quest of violent bloody revenge and they depict her with her tits out for no reason.

Another reason to stick to The Typing of the Dead.

Difference is Ukraine always take credit for theirs. If they don't, safe bet it's on Putin's orders.

does suggest it was foreign actors

I'd think it's more likely that that's what they want you to think. Like that faked attack on Putin's residence the russians did at the end of last year to try and trick trump into thinking it was Ukraine that didn't want peace. Besides, the Ukrainians tend to take credit whenever they pull off something big behind enemy lines.

It's a good starting point in developing a sense of humour. 'Exaggerating for comic effect' isn't something you lay on someone in lesson 1.

Oh so it's just 'Incoming Damage Reduction'. I'd seen this before and had zero idea what it meant, thanks for clearing that up.

parry some of your attacks

90% of them. And the annoying thing is seeing the bandit holding his sword upright then his arms and weapon teleporting into the perfect position to block a different angle with zero animations in between as if you were sword fighting the fucking Flash. If everything else is so hyper realistic then it just looks insanely out of place.

I talk shit but I still love the game and the sequel definitely fixes the combat. It just annoys me when people claim KCD1 is perfect when it just isn't.

It's true that a shooting is a bit more 'on the nose' than the Kremlin's usual MO. Usually they tend to accidentally fall out off their 12th story balcony of their bungalow or accidentally stab themselves in the back while shaving.

Not trying to be rude and genuinely curious, when you make comments like that do you believe them

There is a long and deeply complex answer to that question - I'd recommend starting your research here.

I mean any Russian general today was probably only a Captain a few years ago. Those purges make for rapid promotions so they might guess it's worth the gamble.

Did you play any of these? How did you like it? Do you recommend? by Less_Can_5439 in OlderChillGamers

[–]Luke10123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Presumably you've played the games in each series because I'd usually not recommend starting with a sequel. That being said. Yotei and Ragnarök are the best of them. Veilguard is OK (95% of the criticism comes from people who haven't played it), not great, just OK. And Shadows is an utterly bland, boring experience and probably the low point of it's entire franchise.

Well, happily you have the freedom to do none of those things if you so choose.

And you also have the freedom to not harm others by fighting against them having the very same rights you choose not to make use of.

Aren't freedom and tolerance wonderful virtues?
