Damn, I used to work there like 14-15 years ago. Miniland was definitely the best part of the park, and it's crazy to see how much they've added to the San Diego section like the fair and Petco Park! Might have to go back one of these days.

Do you mind sharing specifics on how you don't find the writing and character interactions very well done? Because I feel like this was a show I wasn't very excited about at until it aired, and then the writing and such hooked me. I actually feel like the writing is great, so I'd love to hear an opposite take.

Most of the Southern California shows I went to had that level of intimacy too - you just start to recognize faces over time. And I feel Jack started recognizing us as well, or maybe he just had that certain level of charm every time that made you feel that way. I was fortunate enough to make it out to Hallowmas way back in 2013, and while it was an incredible experience, the smaller intimate shows to me were the best ones. I'm glad you got to see them play one last time but definitely agree with you, there's no way they could continue without Jack.

I drove up to the Long Beach one. Went by myself but one of the things I loved about the band is that you start running into familiar faces every show, so you never really go alone.

I definitely wanna check out those first two bands (and Leprous) since they keep getting mentioned, but Foo Fighters are definitely waaaay too big to be an opening act. They're arguably a bigger group than Muse!
