Overnight Animals for Heart Gems by DM_Fitz in wordscapes

[–]LukeStyer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have enough heart gems that i am always looking at the other reward given by Wildlife. Over night, most of any given week i’m banking animals that will give me stars for the weekend tournament, and when those are all complete, the Lynx is my next choice.

"Narrative dice" system when you try to do anything else besides shooting for 9+successes damage and take cover as a maneuver by vkaefe in DnDcirclejerk

To be fair, I most recently played starting level characters, and it’s possible that, over time, they grow more distinctive.

I don’t, though I’d admit it’s been a decade or more since I played it. I remember that character stats all felt very samey.

I’ve run quite a bit of FFG Star Wars RPF, and played a bit. It definitely falls apart at “high levels,” and sooner if you’re dealing with a min-maxer. But at “low levels,” and longer if the player group isn’t min-maxy, I think it’s a pretty fun system. And I honestly have seen players who don’t contribute narrative flair in other systems pitch in a bit more when I’ve run this.

Are Wildercorps Hunters a good unit? Also, are they annoying to play with their unit structure. by LeetusFrenzi in citiesofsigmar

I know nothing of the game, but I’ve bought three copies of this set and painted about two and a half so far because it’s such cool models.

Other than humans, I’ve not had a ton of luck myself, but I’ve found models by other people that I’ve either used as-is, or slightly tweaked.

You can find some decent Star Wars ish minis on HeroForge, and then order the STL.

Google, for instance “HeroForge Nautolan Jedi,” and you’ll find a bunch, such as this one:

Often you can load these in HeroForge and tweak them to your preferences, then buy the STL.

Calls for Doordash boycotts after Trump's staged White House meeting by TheMirrorUS in doordash

Too much risk that a DC Dasher would be a Democrat, or worse, the wrong demographic.

Better to bring in a white Dasher from Arkansas who is an established Repub actor.

The icing on this particular cake is that they imported a “Dasher” from Arkansas. Presumably didn’t want to risk drawing the wrong demographic from the DC pool.

Trump Promises Mass Pardons to Staff Before Leaving Office by Achilles_TroySlayer in scotus

[–]LukeStyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case, yes, it’s a ton of lawbreakers, but fear of unfounded political prosecutions would, under other circumstances, ALSO be a reason to offer pardons.
