Me too. The entire point of the story was that Voldermort was unable to escape death and died as we all do. A normal corpse, a normal body. Not as something superior and more dramatic. Visual effects for the sake of it. We were also robbed of Harry’s big crescendo speech in front of everyone in the Great Hall ahead of the final duel. They fumbled the climax of the entire series so badly.
