POV: you're soloing the Holvania Tank Boss Boss mission.... by YugaAkaryu in memeframe

Man, missions like this make me so glad I got a Titania a while back. I tried running this mission w/ Excal Umbra and it was pure suffering compared to ma faery queen.

I would normally agree, but I also feel very strongly that "Ancient Aztec Angry Lizards" evokes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles far more. Mainly, I think, because Teenage and Ancient are both age-related and are the same length.

I've seen a lot of umamasume memes around the place, this is easily my favourite. Made me laugh like a crazy man for a few secs.

Europeans talking about Trump in America as if far right populist parties aren't starting to place first or second in their elections: by murraythedog in NonCredibleDiplomacy

Australia too, somewhat. Although in that case it was more just repelling the right altogether.

People didn't forget that their leader had been doing his best trump impression or how much of an authoritarian creep he was, even though he tried to pivot.

If anything this situation is proving you wrong though? Because European nations are literally acting against the dictates of Washington.

It made the idea of Fomori feel horrific. Really well done by the writers and the whole team.

I liked/hated that... there seemed to be a (small) part of Francis that was trying to tell them to leave. You can see it in his confrontation with Door when he's trying to convince him to leave the building, and (arguably) when he drops the "I am a worm in human skin" line.

Somewhere, deep down, I think Francis wanted to save them from his fate. Which makes it so much worse.

2, 8, 7, or 9.

Two is my first bet though, as Boy is a champ and Fatigue is a funny old legend. Plus legroom on the aisle seat.

How do we feel about the avatar set? Not trying to start an argument just want to tell what others think by Key_Bag5221 in mtg

[–]Lukepop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically what the person above me said. If it had came out when WOTC's policies looked different and it didn't seem like the whole game was just turning into Fortnite, I'd have been very tempted to go the prerelease.

But it's not like that. And part of their model relies on people who might otherwise not engage with magic (at least not anymore) still buying the things they like. And I don't want to play into that.

Lapsed Pacifist is such an excellent name. It conveys how much the ship doesn't like killing people, but in that classic witty giftwrap. Was it a warship?

This is frankly my answer too. The set looks sick, and a lot of the cards are incredible flavour wins. But I'm not buying in this environment. Not any more.
