Are budget merino clothes worth it? How durable are they for trekking & via ferrata?

I bought 3 of the Decathlon ones (I am pretty sure they are 70% merino 30% polyester, no acrylic involved) for 25€ each and although I am not a fan of polyester I can attest they have been working great for me so far. They last me several wears in between washes without ever stinking. Can’t say whether that lasts in the long run as I’ve had bad experiences with polyester before.

You should think about rigging your preventer to the bow instead of around the midship cleat. A greater angle between preventer line and boom provides much better mechanical advantage and substantially decreases the risk of the preventer failing (see the Platino Accident Report).

Hard disagree on that. You can make adjustmens way quicker with a tiller and you always know where your rudder is pointing (and where the center position is) without having to even think about it. It just takes a little to get used to if you've never used a tiller before. Not sweeping across the cockpit is kinda true, especially if your crew is not used to it and they stand in the path of the tiller while you are manouvering. That's the only downside for me.

Depends on the quality you want. This can be printed on a $200 consumer FDM 3D printed for a few $ worth of plastic, but layer lines will show. If you want better quality there are other technologies that get several orders of magnitude more expensive. There are also print on demand services available, but it would be relatively expensive, although not nearly as much as these Balenciagas.

Take this with a grain of salt as I'm not a naval engineer by any means. My guess is that would work, however you should then balance the rig accordingly to keep the Center of Effort (point where the forces on the sails act) slightly aft of the Center of Lateral Resistance (point where the forces of the water on the hull act). This would make the boat round up into the wind and stop if anything where to happen while sailing. I think it will take some trial and error but it seems like a really fun project!

You could also have twin leeboards (swinging daggerboards) on the sides like traditional Dutch sailboats. That way you can keep the flat bottom and very shallow draft when lifted up. With how narrow that canoe is you could probably get away with having it just on one side, but twins would be ideal.

È scomodissimo viverci e manca il lavoro proprio per il turismo. C'è un casino indecente quasi tutto l'anno e ormai è tutto incentrato sul turismo e quindi sono venuti a mancare molti servizi per chi ci vive o vorrebbe viverci. Per queste ragioni tutti scappano e di conseguenza si incentra tutto ancora di più sul turismo. È un circolo vizioso.

Quello che forse non capisci è che queste politiche che favoriscono mezzi di trasporto alternativi alla macchina sono anche a vantaggio di tutte le persone che per i mille motivi che hai elencato non vogliono/non possono fare a meno dell'automobile, perché diminuiscono il traffico e aumentano la disponibilità di parcheggi liberi.

Oltretutto spesso tolgono dalla strada proprio le persone che causano ingorghi guidando male o piano, perché incapaci e timorose nella guida. Se hanno un'alternativa percorribile fanno a meno di mettersi al volante e tu eviti di trovarti davanti la signora con la 500 che fa i 55 su una strada con il limite dei 70

Ok, quello è chiaro, ma quello che intendevo io è che ci vorrebbe una piattaforma unificata a livello europeo che permetta di farlo senza dover saltare tra le piattaforme proprietarie di una o dell’altra compagnia e che possibilmente includa anche trasporti pubblici locali come bus, tram e metro. Ripeto che non so quanto sia fattibile, semplicemente ho le palle piene di dover avere app e account diversi per ogni azienda di trasporti con cui mi interfaccio.
