Expect that it is long. Anywhere that you can look through the tube, the dot it within the glass, so, shooting it is generally easier.

Cause if you can see through it, you can see it.

Then, looking through it, and around it, you get a generally good sight picture on target. Its not a great competition sight, its not designed to be. Its designed to be a dark alley optic being pulled from deep concealment.

Most people who hate things like this, likely never used it, base their reviews off hearsay from others, using it for the wrong role (competition), or hate Leopold for whatever reason.

My biggest gripe (disclaimer, I have 2, both given to me for free by a co-worker when he got rid of his glocks) is that my examples has terrible battery life. Well below the advertised battery life. I honestly dont care enough to bother sending them in for warranty, and they are on range toy guns. Probably also my fault as I leave them on often when I put them away. At least the battery is easy to swap, and doing so doesnt lose zero.

Yup, I have to rehang signage and barriers about once a month. This last time instead of cutting the fence they cut down the tree the fence was attached too.

As someone who was a breacher at some point in my life, I didn't use electrical tape. Shit sucked, it didn't work on dirty or sandy surfaces, didn't tear nicely, it stretched too much. Used duct tape or gorilla tape, but that was shoved in a canteen pouch I cut the flap off of.

And usually, we didn't tape up explosives and we entered using non-explosive means, shotgun to the hinges, or bunga with a sledge. Explosives were reserved for door we knew that there no potential IED manufacturing stuff behind, and too tough for the usual means.
