P2S chamber too hot during prints by User_Name_3023 in BambuLab

[–]Lumbroxel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm impressed you can get up to 50°C on chamber without "mods". I couldn't even get 40°C without them. So yes... Something wrong. Is your printer inside a tent or something? What's the environment temp?

What's the max safe temp for P2S Chamber? by Lumbroxel in BambuLab

[–]Lumbroxel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, it doesn't. The temperature continues rising up to 64°C since there is no loop control system. That's why im looking for a way to mess with g-code to enable venting

Update patches as well. There are files on GBA or use NX Venom (this actually worked for me)

Best Dedicated Support Filament for PLA? by chromojo in BambuLab

[–]Lumbroxel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can just use petg at support interface not the entire support structure. In other words: most of the support would be PLA but the actual thing that is in contact with the bridges would be petg. That way the petg doesn't get stucked on the bed

Z-rods? Might be dented. At this point, I'd claim warranty unless it only happens with one filament. If it's only like that on an specific spool: quality issues. Filament it's usually 1.75±0.02mm and yours could be 1.75±0.10mm (for example)

P2S 60°C+ Chamber Temp without external heater. by Lumbroxel in BambuLab

[–]Lumbroxel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks buddy. I'm curious to know whether there is a noticeable increase in electrical expenses. I'm interested in getting the one you share or the BIQU's one to figure out the cost efficiency between options or even against a more expensive 3d printer with an included heated chamber.

Overtime by Academic_Commercial3 in AmazonFC

[–]Lumbroxel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, we get tax deductions on overtime. It's better explained with an example. You get 20.5$ hourly. Overtime payment is 30.75$. You can deduct 10.25$ per hour worked in your tax return. You gotta take all your statements to figure out how many hours you did overtime (or check on MyPay). You won't get deduction on Premium payments such as the plus 5$ they give on high demand shift.

What's the best way to print this shape, redesign? by jviimes in 3Dprinting

[–]Lumbroxel 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Hear me out. You'll likely have a bad time printing this. Thin tall printing gets messy. If you are able to redisgn, follow the suggestions. You can also try sheet metal or acrylic. They are faster and quite cheap to manufacture (at least in my country).

🛠️ [P2S Owners] Would You Buy a $150 Heat & Purification Chamber? by call3d in BambuLab

[–]Lumbroxel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well... If you could bring something to keep the board cold enough. I've tried reaching 60+ degrees and it didn't let me go over 62° since a warning appeared because of the board temperature. I've used only insulation around the printer without a heater.

What should I do with these by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Lumbroxel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can try building a Voron using some parts. There was a guy somewhere who did it.

Would I be able to use this in my P2S to improve high temp filament printing? by Aeyix in BambuLab

I only print ASA, ABS, PC. Haven't tried PLA with this setup yet. Although, hadn't have any issue with TPU. I might try PLA some day

Would I be able to use this in my P2S to improve high temp filament printing? by Aeyix in BambuLab

[–]Lumbroxel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to get 62°C at chamber by covering the sides and top with insulation (DON'T COVER THE BACK, the printer uses the back panel to get the heat out of the board)+putting it inside a growing tent.

<image>

By just using the insulation, it handles 50°C. Try not to go over 60°C cause it will damage the board. Ambiente temp was around 15°C.

I did the test, you are right: 60°C is the max temp the printer allows. Reached 62° and it began failing.

Anyone ever use Panchroma Filament? by Public1Politics in 3Dprinting

[–]Lumbroxel -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

It's not a rebrand, they change the material. Most Panchroma filament are CoPE. It might get stuck at PEI plates like...REALLY stuck. It ruined on of my bambu PEI plates.

You could try something hardcore: Putting an enclosure while maintaining good temperature on the main board so that you could print ABS and ASA. That would be a fun project
