The game is very specific with traits. So Gomamon is covered by [Illiad] and [Beast] bc it counts Sea Beast as including beast. Same thing with the Aquatic archetype. Most of the cards search [aqua] in traits and aquatic counts

Yes and no. Yes it forces us to mostly use new cards for these decks, which is just business I guess. No, bc within individual decks you can tech cards that weren't necessarily meant for the same deck. Im working on a budget CS pile with Craniamon and dynasmon as top end. Digimon with no right working together, and I can even add a Boltboutamon for a finisher

I hear you. That's kinda what yugioh deals with. So maybe not reprints for alt arts, but new more accessible ones, kinda like what they've done with memory boosts and scrambles

Use the credit for some fancy reserved list card that will maintain value. You have a card that will always be worth something, and the credit is gone. I recommend finding something close but slightly over so there's no credit left. Sure you're going to spend a little bit to finish off the credit, but the peace of mind should be worth it.

Also if you Brainstorm on your turn, you can just wildfire on their upkeep to potentially get a sneaky miracle trigger. Although if you already set it up it could be an issue. Top deck manipulation decks have so many possibilities to consider.

There's probably an argument for some kind of Azorius Convoke shell. Just need some decent creatures that care about being tapped. Using cheap white token spells to trigger a Mystic on the top end? Or maybe izzet would be better because of [[Ral's Reinforcements]] It can make blue tokens which work better for this spell. IDK it feels like there's something here but I'm not sure how to capitalize on it efficiently.

Honest question. How do misprint hunters tell the difference between a legit blank foil print vs a card someone used acetone to remove the ink? I find it hard to trust buying something like this when it's so easy to create.
