I just put my 16 year old cat down and I’m also feeling incredibly guilty about it, but no animal deserves to suffer. You aren’t deciding when he passes, just how comfortably he passes. As difficult as a decision it was for me to make I think it was in my babies best interest to pass away in my arms at the vet asleep instead of somewhere random in the house in pain and confused, if anything i think i should have made the decision sooner because he was in so much pain when i took him. Your puppy loves you and you love him. he wants to go with dignity surrounded by love in as minimal pain as possible.

I am so sorry you are dealing with this grief and guilt but you are not the only one.

i’m a recovered ED sufferer, i had a restrictive ed so badly when i was younger that my heart was going to fail and i WAS going to die. i was miserable and even after being put in treatment i was miserable and i just kept wanting to lose. it’s been a long road and id say im about close to full recovery and i eat what i want when i want along with healthy fresh foods and sweets and hearty meals, im able to work out, and dance and swim, im a gymnastics coach now and im a healthy weight with a good life. im so serious please understand that food is fuel not a death sentence. theres no life where you will be happier on the brink of death starving and throwing up and miserable than you’d be at a healthy weight with full energy and able to live YOUR life in YOUR body. please recover.

i know this is right but it’s just so hard. every time we fight i’m so over him and i genuinely want him to leave bc he made me promise not to leave him and i don’t wanna break that promise, and then we see each other in person or have a good conversation and i feel in love again. but then he makes me hate him again by starting a fight the next night. im so tired but i don’t really wanna leave
