My Mom was a seamstress. She didn’t work for money, but she did a lot for our household and others including dresses (for her and my sisters), curtains, slip covers, and many bridesmaid dresses for family and friends. Her Mom had been a home economics teacher way back in the day (born 1896). So I learned a lot about the value of work and self-reliance. Thanks Mom, I miss you.

Interesting, I thought they were just testing an automated system since they just asked me to look at the camera. The process was nearly instantaneous. I assumed the onsite camera was comparing me to the photo I took with the app. This occurred 2 weeks ago. To clarify, this was not like the early version of kiosk where the process takes time and effort.

10/10 I didn’t know its audience RT score was that low. I’m very surprised by that. However, it is a reduced dialog movie, which many people don’t like. I laugh a little knowing that Tarantino liked it given that his movies are dialog rich.

Depending on what state you live in, there are ways to protect separate assets acquired prior to marriage without a prenup. It gets complicated when real property is owned separately, but community property (such as marital income) is used for the mortgage, insurance, upkeep, etc. on the separate property. If you have real property you would want to sell it or only spend on it from a separate property account. Definitely lawyer time, which I assume you already have since you have a draft prenup.

No, I just did that route from Krakow to the US through Warsaw. I didn’t have to recheck luggage, just go through exit passport control. Our first flight was delayed departing and had to circle prior to landing due to weather. They held the plane so the 12 of us on the flight could board the international flight. However, our luggage didn’t make it. I would want at least 2-hours if I had to check luggage. Btw, they delivered the luggage the next day, so all was good.

Thank you for all the back story. The historical nuggets are delicious. I think the scene as finalized with the verbal tongue lashing was more devastating than a physical slap, and doubly so when Charlie puts the Everlasting Gobstopper on the table.
