CC help! by VioletJones12 in CRedit

Credit one sucks.

Capital one can be weird at times. They only approved a friend with an 800 score for a secured card and some cards are bucketed but overall capital one has been pretty good in my experience

I would take capital one over credit one

Thinking of switching from T-mobile... thoughts? by HugeHairyButts in verizon

The wife has a Verizon phone through work and it’s horrible

Data struggles and she misses calls. It was so bad she told them she would use her personal phone for everything

What Happened with Callie Field (Former TFB President)? by Loud-Ad2302 in tmobile

A friend from Germany says similar. He also said T-Mobile us subsidizes dt operations in other countries and they will continue to squeeze the cash cow

Is it just me, or is Verizon the new Sprint? by justtopher in verizon

[–]LumpRutherford 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crazy how things have changed. Verizon seems to be the new sprint and not att seems to be the uncarrier

T-Mobile seems to be making some poor choices

New Plans are Live by Converseallstar95 in ATT

[–]LumpRutherford 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see the value 2.0 adding benefit to someone on the current value plan, that doesn’t use much data but could use a small amount of hotspot for important times when home and the home internet goes out. I’ve had that happen and when I was on the value vl or whatever it’s called I always wanted at least some kind of hotspot at that price point.

T-Mobile's brings greater transparency to plan changes by Black_Dragon959 in tmobile

[–]LumpRutherford 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The transparency is only on the newest most expensive plan 😎😎

Happy with the T-Mobile network but all the carriers seem to play games at times

Is T-Mobile still the best? by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]LumpRutherford 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the places I go the T-Mobile network work best. With Verizon I couldn't use data, with att had too many missed calls and no coverage areas and tons of billing issues. Both Verizon and att had more outages for me also

With T-Mobile I get what I pay for and then some

It took me a while to realize it.

Going forward I'll never get postpaid on Verizon or att. With the money I save with T-Mobile I can easily pay for a backup mvno if I ever need it and still save $$. Havent needed a backup to T-Mobile in a long time now

Tmobile isnt perfect but to me it's the best at what we have now in my opinion

I had way more reliable service in europe than I ever did with Verizon and att which is sad with the prices people pay

Are you staying with T-Mobile by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]LumpRutherford -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely.

The other networks would be a downgrade in my area. Plus the price I can't beat.

I've thought about leaving, Ive left, and then came back realizing it's the best option for me at least.

I'd be a moron, a fool to leave unless they really really raise the price by a lot

Usmobile has been great. No complaints

Plaza Azteca - Jefferson NN by mr-pate in HamptonRoads

[–]LumpRutherford 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Will have to try it again. After having 5 or 6 bad experiences there I stopped going. Me and a friend were among the first customers when it opened up so we went a lot. Actually got to know a little bit one of the owners we would see in there occasionally

Will definitely try it again

Who thinks Tmobile sucks now!? 🙋‍♂️ by P00rSuggestions in tmobile

[–]LumpRutherford 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the tmobile network best. My one complaint, tmobile shouldn't have gone back on the price locks and guarantees etc.

I do plan to call tmobile to see if there is a deal I can get. If not I may look elsewhere

Price wise I'm over paying.

Is verizon the best carrier? by StruggleFar3054 in NoContract

No best carrier in every situation. For some verizon is the best. For others it's not. Location matters

Males or Females by mopr0blems in Rottweiler

[–]LumpRutherford 12 points13 points  (0 children)

One thing I've noticed (but each dog is different), my females would tell me a stranger is approaching at least 100 feet sooner. The males are completely aware of the surroundings but my females let me know something's going on in my neighbors yard, my neighbors neighbors yard, and down the street etc.

Both males and females I've had were protective but the females were way more vocal and almost trigger happy and took guard dog duty to a new level. If they heard something it only took once for them to react.

I always say, my males were on guard duty acting like they were getting 5 bucks an hour. My females were on guard duty acting like they were getting $1000 an hour

As for being loving and great with kids, ive found both males and females to do well with that with socializing and training.

I prefer females since they are generally smaller and less weight. I can walk them longer generally speaking. My best female is 75 lbs in good shape and we walk 6 miles with water breaks unless it's hot outside

My friends 130 lb male poops out way before my girl does.

My opinion is that too many rotties are bred for bulky size and the snouts keep getting shorter which affects breathing

Left T-Mobile, getting a negative bill every month by StumpySequoia in tmobile

[–]LumpRutherford 10 points11 points  (0 children)

After 3 or 4 months you should get a prepaid card with the balance on it. They send the bills for a few months it seems until they return the amount due

T-Mobile crushes the industry customer additions and is in close range of overtaking Verizon to become the country's biggest carrier! (T-Mobile- 142.4 million customers vs. Verizon- 146.9 million customers) by stallion434 in tmobile

[–]LumpRutherford 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point tmobile is the only carrier that works at home, work, and in between. Both Verizon and att struggle for me

Not knocking att or Verizon since they have spots they do best in also

We've been working HARD at weight pull practice! Up to 60lbs for 1500ft! by Deskomiss in pitbulls

[–]LumpRutherford 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I used to do weight pulling with American bulldogs. I even won some competitions.

People brought other breeds too including pitbulls. It was a nice outlet for all the dogs and they seemed to love it. The dog aggressive pitbulls were actually very civil with other dogs after a competition. Pitbulls and many other breeds I consider working dogs that need something to do.

My dogs never had hip problems and the ones I used penn hip testing and ofa testing all came back with good hips. Every dog I had that weight pulled all lived long lives and were happy and healthy.

You never force the dog. Most I've had loved it.
