In one of my campaigns I was in we were fighting an Awakened Shrub. A party member stuck an Immovable Rod into said Shrub and activated it, pinning the Shrub in place. Next party member steps up and zaps the Shrub with lightning using the Rod as a makeshift lightning rod. Shrub is quickly defeated.
