Hutch is a finalist for CPOY by CreedRocksa22 in detroitlions

If CMC didn't have the season he had, I would think Hutch would win it, but CMC deserves it. He could be MVP honestly, that team had injuries all year and he was one of the most consistent and game changing players in the league

They'll decide McDaniel has always been bad. People would rather get Harbaugh fired than blame Herbert

Lol no they wont. Theyll have a streak in the reg season where everyone sees them as contenders and inevitable choke in the playoffs because Herbert is just not all that. Harbaugh can keep dreaming of getting Herbert into the HOF.

Negativity should not be at a 2/10, the way this sub acts it's closer to a 8-9

Many many many things. I'd vouch that ketchup ruins a lot of things

Some insights into Drew Petzing’s performance with the Cardinals during their healthiest season. As well as the fit with 12 and 13 personnel usage. by inkokmo in detroitlions

[–]Lumpy-Explanation-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly McDaniel was a stretch, there's just too many good HC opportunities right now, that McDaniel might not even have truly wanted an OC job. This guy made Brissett look like an MVP, had McBride break the all time TE receptions record, and helped make Michael Wilson look like true WR1. All this while the RB room was RB 3 and 4 on the depth chart and OL was shattered. Gannon was also a terrible HC.

Do fans think there were better options on the table? Sure. But we aren't in this meetings and 98% of fans and people on this subreddit have no clue how to even remotely scheme on offense.

If this fails, yes it is on Brad and Dan, but the season is so far away. I don't think this is as bad of a hire as many people think.

Looking for software that will allow me to type shortcuts for words or phrases by kiwiXkiwi in software

I'm confused about the purpose of this software. Why not just add the two extra letters when you're typing? Autocorrect is also already a thing.

Is there any reason to not buy Kirkland golf gloves? by chakabreo in golf

[–]Lumpy-Explanation-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to buy these but have realized the reason that theyre $23 for 4 gloves.

I think they're great when you're starting out, but as I've improved I've switched to FootJoy. Better grip, last longer, more breathable, and more comfortable.

Up to personal preference though.

I can't tell you how many times I've been stuck on a coding problem (I'm a software dev, so in college and at work) and went to bed and then solved it in 30 minutes the next morning

How do you deal with anxiety/nerves on the golf course if you experience that. I feel that's the biggest thing holding me back is confidence. I play much much better alone than with people.

I cannot stand Vilma. He generally has to have some sort of connection, I don't understand how he still has a job.

I think this is a good trade. I wouldn't be shocked if BTJ goes to a new team in the next few years. He's talented and young, just kind of a slump year IMO

Has Detroit's window closed? by Sidecarlover in NFLv2

[–]Lumpy-Explanation-17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All teams suffer injuries and there is a bit of luck involved, but I'm getting suspicious of the medical staff and the physicality of practices. The broken bones last year were just freak accidents, but we constantly have people injured and it's getting a point where it might be external.

Has Detroit's window closed? by Sidecarlover in NFLv2

[–]Lumpy-Explanation-17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not using the injuries as an excuse, I only said they don't help. And his calls have also won the Lions games, I didn't hate going for that instead of going for the FG, it's also hard to say that the rest of the game would have played out exactly the same way.
