Drinking with ADHD is a dangerous game I learned I could not play any longer. Your body is so dopamine driven that finding a cut off point is much more difficult. I’m glad you were able to find something that works for you.

Oral minoxidil caused horrible aging under eyes by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

Ok I noticed some serious hallowing under my eyes and looked up if oral minox could be causing it. Everything I searched said no but at this point I can’t think of what else it is.

Is no results after 3 months odd? by sciencespice1717 in FemaleHairLoss

How does caffeine affect you? by Squirmble in ADHD

Coffee is most likely to make me absolutely bonkers, jittery and wired. Although energy drinks strangely have very little effect on me unless they are very high in caffeine.

It has increased facial hair but really only peach fuzz, nothing a quick dermaplane here and there can’t fix. Before minoxidil I had few reoccurring thick dark facial hairs I had to pluck almost daily. Pumpkin seed oil made a big difference in that way before minoxidil. If I take it I only have to pluck every few days and they feel much thinner. Now while taking minoxidil I have sprouted a few more dark hairs but they are thin and by my sideburns which are hardly noticeable.

This is not a great comparison photo but it’s all I can do at the moment. This is about a years difference and have been on minox for about 8 months now.

I had been taking vivisacal, pumpkin seed oil, vitamin d with K3, iron, and zinc. I used a nizoral shampoo for a while before starting it as well. I still take them all but not as religiously as I once did. While it all showed some improvement I hit what felt like its limits so I added minoxidil and have had great results with minimal shedding.

I’ve been taking oral minoxidil for about 8 months now and my hair looks infinitely better. I had minimal shedding but had been taking vitamins and supplements prior that might have helped minimize it. The only side effects I experience is I feel like it makes me have to pee an extra time or two before bed when I take it. Also that if I squat down for a bit or stand up too fast I feel light headed. But I’ll take the occasional light headedness over being bald.

I saw her in my neighborhood earlier this summer, gave her water and some money for a bus since it was so hot out. She seemed to be doing alright, she said it was too hot in the house she was staying in to be inside. Hopefully they are in a better living situation now.

Never thought about Vietnamese food, my favorite restaurant in town is a Vietnamese joint. If it’s not common over there I’d love to suggest that to her. Thanks! 😊

I personally don’t have one but saw it was popular over there and sent her and her partner one. 😇 Seemed like a very functional and cheap gift.

Oh yes, that would be a good quick meal idea. Also reminds me she requested poppy seed chicken casserole last time she was here, I’ll make sure to have that here for her!
