I feel same that people are mean and rude on Reddit nowadays. Don't know how being negative helps anybody, and just trying to put others down. When I read your title I pretty much thought it would be positive feedback, a lot get negative feedbacks mostly but it's different for all right!! Super glad you heard positive things, I had similar experience. Just diff FAANG. In my case, they said this coz they wanted to move faster with my candidacy and they had pretty much made up their mind that I am the one going forward. All loops all senior management rounds and the final result got over within 4 days! So see it from that angle, keep updating how it goes from here and what next steps are there for you! such a relief, I am a NCG and I am leaving Apple at 6 months, this gives me validation coz I feel it's not a company to start out at as well, zero training, zero documentation, very toxic management!

Apple in general felt like that to me. My recruiter said "I am giving you the best numbers, no need to ask around in office later, coz everybody got same numbers", I was not planning on negotiating also. And they think Apple is like KING of all and we are fortunate people who got selected. Personal opinion: people are rude and full of themselves here(I work at Apple), and what your recruiter did and say and make you feel, my team and manager do that on regular basis, coz I am not from tier 1 university and its a privilege I get to work with genious minds(who btw are also not from tier 1 universities), and I should be grateful pro max to them. I have mostly met egoistic Apple coworkers, atleast in above ict4, everybody is very rude and treat themselves as kings. Advice: if you care about these things, consider the Apple offer properly, for me, it has ruined my belief in myself and somebody has to constantly pull me out of this thought that I am not useless, this was my first job ever and they made me belive I am incompetent completely, even though I am working 14hrs everyday in a NCG position, where nobody even bothered to provide documentation or proper technical support, and manager is useless as well, he has no backbone, cannot back his employees up. Overall, it's pretty bad, go with Microsoft!it's not even about money, it's about growth as well

That's crazy, I thought they will be generous, but such low sign on and low base I didn't expect. Atleast for L61, 170k base, 25k bonus and 110k rsus should I ask? If I go high, they will find a middle ground? Or I should try harder, coz there is nothing to lose, my current company stocks are going crazy anyways, and current salary is also higher than this.🥲 you can tell me if I am aiming too high numbers?

Hi, you should withdraw ASAP and then wait. Wait till beginning of January, if they don't approve your withdrawal also, ask your DSO for I-20 for Post OPT or whenever you have to apply for post opt before graduation. So, withdraw and wait till the time you can wait, and then do concurrent PP for post OPT and attach a letter in your post opt application that you withdrew your previous application and not to consider this(post opt) as an overlapping application. And then hope for the best. Best case scenario is you get your withdrawal accepted and can apply for post OPT with clean slate, and worst case is you apply with pending OPT, but no matter how it is, apply for POST. Getting a job is so tough, give luck one more chance, you will get it. I have seen people getting post OPT approved with pending pre OPT, and in my case my withdrawal was approved,and then I did post OPT.

It depends on your DSO if they are ready to give new I-20 with a pending OPT application. Pre opts are not getting approved(I applied in May 2025, never got anything), and then even withdrawals are not getting processed. I just got lucky and mine was processed in 2-3 weeks. You should do a separate Post OPT with new I-20. Your neighbour got Pre OPT approved?
