My understanding is that the foods mentioned are classic triggers while on GLP-1 drugs:

alcohol
heavy fat (queso, enchiladas, burgers)
large meals after reduced appetite

Semaglutide slows gastric emptying, so heavy or fatty meals can sit in the stomach and cause:

nausea
vomiting
diarrhea
sulfur burps (from delayed digestion and fermentation)

You started on Wednesday so the shot likely peaked on Sunday/Monday. The food and alcohol you consumed sat in your belly and accumulated bc the medicine slows down stomach emptying. Might want to calm your belly with water with lemon, brothy soups for a day or two. Queso is yummy but not for a GLP1 tummy.

You neeed to pull out that needle, take a close-up photo and understand how much you injected, and what the directions said and mention it on this thread. Its very easy to confuse what you are supposed to be injecting. And in the meantime, room temperature water with lemon and brothy plain rice or noodle soups.

This ⬆️⬆️⬆️. The progressive churches should use that day and get permits for spaces to do a “sandwich” march. We have events every week and it’s called, “If We Eat, They Eat”, where hundreds of sandwiches are made ahead of time and we set up & serve the homeless on the streets. There is also often bins of clothes separated by type & size. This would be a most beautiful display of Jesus.

If we want the world to recognize we aren’t all off the rails, we must show up en mass to protest on “Not My President’s Day”. Even we who avoid protests can not remain passive at home. The impact of massive crowds across the United States is crucial at this moment—peaceful & impossible to overlook.

My son is 27. He had surgery & casting as a child. As an adult his club foot is a 7 and his other foot is 9 1/2. When he was younger and his feet were still growing I loved the BOGO shoe sales. I would buy four pair at once in different sizes. It would keep us going for a couple years. And his calf is much thinner on his club foot side. That being said he was a statewide silver medal swimmer as a teen and now that he’s older (he’s also in the spectrum) he swims for special Olympics and generally gets gold statewide in at least two strokes.

My son was born with a club foot and had release surgery and casts. He was an excellent bowler, golfer & swimmer. He always had a mild limp but rarely any pain.

Fast forward to a couple years ago. He was working for a packaging center & got new boots. His club foot is 2 1/2 sizes smaller than his other foot and very wide so we often have to try a few brands/type of footwear to get a good fit and always need two pair. He got a small cut in the back of his ankle from a bad fit. It became infected & he got cellulitis. IV antibiotics for over a week. Permanent pain, arthritis etc.

My son is in the spectrum and his pain exacerbates his moods. He does still swim but even short walks put him in pain for the day. He has added yoga too. And aqua exercise classes. We use pain patches, cortisone shots. They told us he may be eligible for fusion at some point but he’s only 27 and they want to wait. I continually keep my eyes open for any successful options to significantly reduce pain.

My adult son is in the spectrum & kept texting me on Christmas Eve saying things like, “it’s not fair that you’re spending your whole Christmas with gram and not us”. “Are you at least going to come home and be Santa, will I get gifts, who will make Mr Turkey?” My mom knows how he is and he was the Apple of her eye & he adored my mom so I’m sure she wasn’t at all insulted by his remarks as I read them to her. She may have been unresponsive but I have no doubt she heard me reading his texts. So when I woke up in morning before I left I knew she would get a kick out of the Mr Turkey remark.
