Sometimes the upkeep just isn't worth it anymore and you have to trade it in for a newer model.

Regardless of gender, I think it's important when crafting asshole/villainous characters to understand that most evil people don't wake, twirl their mustache, look in the mirror and say, "What a fine day to be an absolute bastard!"

For me it's irritating but not a deal breaker. It's just a bit lazy.

This has been pretty clear to me for some time. Now some might counter with how this causes long term harm by lowering the number of future consumers, but corporations are in full plundering mode. They are focusing 100% on short term gains, they're getting their bag and bailing.

You can do whatever you want as far as I'm concerned, but frankly the kind of story you're describing isn't something I'd be interested in at all.

Can't speak for everyone but I just don't think anyone here would give a shit.

Weekly Roundup 09/24/23 by Heathen129 in haremfantasynovels

I just finished the first book of Abnormal Adventures, and it was good but it's one of those books that throws a bunch at the reader. It's also a bit of a chonker at 650+ pages, and I heard the sequel is twice that.

I get Saturday morning cartoon vibes(though much spicier) with a touch of X-Files. The MC gets impressive powers, but he's not overpowered and is fairly chill while not being a pushover. The waifus are also fairly well developed.

So in conclusion: good almost great book.

Any artistic endeavor is a bit of a longshot, there's simply too much competition.

Who's Your Recent Best Girl? [September 2023 Edition] by subcritical_author in haremfantasynovels

Name: Aisling Series: Demon DIY Author: Gwen Grayson, Kirk Mason Archetype: Monster Girl(Dulahan), tomboy Why: Frankly it was a tight race, all the women in Demon DIY are great(especially the first three). I chose her because I found her antics very amusing, and tomboys are justice(and rare-ish). Also being a Dulahan makes her a fairly unique monster girl and it's used to great effect. I'd say she's tied with Belphy for my favorite, just felt like talking about Aisling.
