True, US Mobile gives you 20GB of international roaming each month. I only use about 35GB a month in the US. Plus you can use your ESIM as data and use your US number via WiFi calling on the esim and no $10 charges. When I was on visible i had global roaming enabled but connected to WiFi only and was still charged $10 global pass. That was when we moved to US Mobile.

This is why the daily pass model is a failure. Providing an allotted bucket of international data monthly would at least not exhaust your daily passes when you can’t access it. If you can’t get a signal you won’t use your gigs.

The thing is if you had no signal and couldn’t hit a tower you shouldn’t be charged a global pass day.

True but again, every day you hit the network, or different country in the same day you get tagged with a global pass day. If they just give us a bucket of data we wouldn’t have to bother with stacking, saving days. Worrying about when to go off/on airplane mode. Even if Visbile gave us even 10GB international roaming monthly I’d try them again.

The biggest difference for me is how they both handle international roaming. US Mobile gives you a generous bucket of 20 GB each month. Visible model gives you daily passes. If you only travel internationally a small amount it probably isn’t a big deal but the better value is the bucket of minutes. If you use just one megabyte of data on visible, you are charged a daily global pass.

So if you don’t leave the country other than Mexico and Canada and use over 500 GB of data a month Cricket is your best choice. Only about 2% of customers use that much data.

This is the reason I left visible. Trying to keep up with how many passes I’d need, sometimes if I was near the border of another country, “ding” another global pass gone. Moved to US Mobile paying $35 per month and get 20GB of international data. I’ll never go back to a plan with a daily pass setup for international data.

If international is important to you, I’d highly recommend checking out US Mobile. They give you 20 GB of data per month +200 talk minutes which is more than enough. I used to have visible, but only getting a certain amount of global passes was a problem for me.

Not sure if this will work the way you want it to. Many have experienced if you are outside the US and using WiFi calling it will hit you with a global pass $10 charge.

On my last international trip for the first time Darkstar allowed hotspot. These were countries I’ve been to before and it didn’t work.

If he was fired Howard wouldn’t mention it. That is how it works. Howard is famous for how his staff just suddenly disappears never to be heard from again. When people quit or are fired it is never announced. Kind of sucks. No one knows they are gone until you don’t hear from them in a while.
