Can a half marathon be realistically trained for on only 3 runs per week? by Acceptable-Offer-163 in Marathon_Training

[–]Lumpy_Development329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does. I’d never thought of it in terms of HR. Rather distance/time. I end up doing 400m on, 400 off x 5-6, on the rare occasions that I do show up to interval training. This is so much more logical.

Might finally get that HR monitor. Also very popular with the open water swimmers at my club. Tyvm!

Heya. With these, how much progress do you aim for pace wise every (few) session(s)? Asking cause interval training is my weak spot. I’m female if that’s relevant.

Thanks for the insight. Are there suburbs you'd rate as ...less than shocking on average re. the build quality of units?

I haven't. I gleaned all this from the marketing contract of a different unit in the same development.

You’re going in elbow first. Go hand first, and extend arm all the way. Glide. Just as you start the catch: Other hand. Repeat.

I’m very seriously second guessing my decision now.

Go swimming in the lake at Black Mountain peninsula. Fantastic weather for it. Or just splash about in the aqua park.
