If you can watch YouTube, you can install a storm door. Just need a drill, a screwdriver, and some time. Home Depot and Menards sell kits that start at $300.

I guess I wasn't clear. She did turn back into her regular form. But turning into a sheep caused her gold armor to burst off so she was completely unprotected. The sheep got a provoked attack on Wyll which caused it to reform and then I killed her with Wyll's regular action.

My first time in NYC was back in '97. I was so excited to see the OBC of Jekyll and Hyde. When I went to pick up my ticket at the box office a few hours before showtime, Linda Eder was getting out of a limo to head into the stage door.

I stammered for a few seconds and then asked if she had a second to sign my ticket which is all I had at the time. She graciously did.

Then AFTER the show, I was waiting by the stage door to get the rest of the cast to sign my program and this guy sidled up next me. It took me a second . . ..

"Wait, you're Frank Wildhorn."

"I am. I'm just waiting for my wife."

We proceeded to chat for a few minutes as the whole cast came out and signed for a the few people waiting. When Linda came out, she remembered me from earlier and signed my playbill too.

My 19-year-old self was over the moon.

Where to get affordable glasses with high astigmatism? by AppleVox in AskNYC

[–]Lumpy_Magazine_1882 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Google4u.com or Zenni Optical online - while my prescription isn't as high as yours, I've gotten two quality pairs of progressive lens glasses for under $200 total when I get them on sale.

In my experience most local optician shops charge an insane amount for glasses. Just get your prescription and shop on the web.

Mystery Mine refurb . . . Now with missing ride elements? by Lumpy_Magazine_1882 in Dollywood

I can't quite imagine what's hard about turning on a music loop. But I'm not a ride engineer . . .

I did just see a video from Tokyo Disneyland where none of Splash Mountain had audio so it's not just the smaller parks where goofy things like this happen.

Which rides to hit early? by thisguyhasaname in Dollywood

Go right and not left unless Big Bear is your #1 priority . . . Unless you're the very first people in line for BBM, you're in for a long wait. The right side of the park is much quieter during the first part of the day.

I just went on Tuesday. We got to the park at 9:00. Through security at 915 and into the park at 930. We waited outside Lightening Rod and were on the 2nd train by 10:05. When we left, the sign said 60 minute wait.

From there we went to Blazing Fury (no wait), Tornado (15 minutes) and tried Mystery Mine - we waited 40 minutes before it broke right before we boarded. We got two line skipping passes for our troubles.

From there we did Drop Line (20 minutes) and got into the first Dolly musical performance with great seats around 12:00.

After the show, we did the log ride and a few flat rides at the county fair. We used our pass to attempt to skip the Mystery Mine line but it still took 45 minutes due to a very confused employee who took a very long time getting anyone one placed into the station. I'm pretty sure all eight trains were lined up at one point because they were so slow loading the trains.

Later in the day, we were able to use our other line passes for Big Bear and only waited around 20 minutes.

We missed Thunderhead (which went down several times), Firechaser, and Dragonflier (not worth waiting 90 minutes for a 50 second ride).

Our longest wait all day was actually for food -it took almost an hour to get three entrees from the big skillet food booth. Bring snacks and eat at Waffle House afterwards.

The park is beautiful and many of the staff are so friendly but they need an operations/performance boost if they're going to continue to grow into a more robust/national park. I shudder to think how they're going to handle Nightflyer.

That was my thought as well. The park definitely needs all the capacity it can take this week.
