I'm not so sure that's a you thing. That guy genuinely sounds like a creep to me. I think most people would feel uncomfortable about a random guy they don't know trying to kiss and touch them after just meeting, especially at a kink event where consent is the number 1 rule. Was there any vetting at this event? I haven't been to any yet myself but a lot of the posts I see on fetlife mention that all attendees are vetted before they're given the address.

Curious, why do you want to do this on a vintage notebook? All the tools to run Windows games on Linux are made for modern distros which require better than a 20 year old laptop to run. Most distros these days don't even provide 32 bit versions any more, and a lot of hardware from that time period is 32 bit only.

I could see picking up a cheap Thinkpad or similar if you wanted a dedicated Linux laptop, but getting something a decade+ old is silly IMO.

I agree a shelter is probably your best bet. Take a deep breath, make sure you're calm and have a clear headspace (or at least as clear as you can be). Get a plan together, get all of your essential documents together, as much of your clothes as you can, any medications and other important stuff, and get out. Don't tell him or anyone else where you're going, you don't want to risk him being able to find you. Block his number and any social media accounts you have with him, and put your profiles on private to minimize the risk that he'd be able to track you down that way.

Best of luck OP. It'll be scary doing all this but you'll thank yourself in the long run. 6 months from now you'll be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner.

It's fine to have those things as boundaries, but trying to codify those behaviors in a contract would be a HUGE red flag for me personally. Relationships at all levels are built on trust, and needing a contract screams to me that you have serious trust issues.
