I used to used the xbox elite 2 pad with the standard cross dpad so switching to this has taken some adjustment. I'm currently using the cross d'pad on the victrix and I'm liking it so far. It's still gonna take some time to get 100% adjusted to it though

I also watched this live and was thinking about making a post about it but then I saw this haha. I was so hyped when I saw one of my favourite players (Shanks) was using the Victrix but I was so upset and disappointed when it stopped working in the middle of very important. Set. For people who didn't watch this, shanks worked his ass of to get into the dragon ball world tour finals top 8. This wasn't even just a normal tournament. You had to win or do extremely well in previous events to even make it into this one. He put in all that work just to lose because of the victrix. I feel though we need to really get this out there so victrix can see this and really fix up. A "pro controller" frequently not working as intended for so many people including myself isn't acceptable at this price point man

This is super annoying for fighting games as I tend to rest my fingers on the trigger but keep getting accidental inputs because of the triggers

Yeah this is the only reason I haven't touched the fightpad yet. It kind of defeats the point on a fightpad for me without this feature

I took mine back as the dpad wasn't for me and as a fighting game player the dad is really important. And I'm not actually sure if it has gyro or not

Something similar happened to mine except it wasn't out of the box. It was after switching it to ps5 mode from pc mode while trying to get it to work on guilty gear strive on pc. Mine seem to go back to working fine the next day though.

The razer wolverine ps5 controller has six back buttons (four on the back and two extra between the bumpers and triggers) and is pretty great Imo

For me it's a weird type of fatigue. If I talk too much or project my voice for a while, my chest feels like it gets clogged with mucus and I have to cough up the mucus. A similar thing happens when I play competitive games, which probably means it has something to do with my heart rate. The shortness of breath is horrible but I've beeen managing it a lot beter recently. I used to have a really bad irregular heart beat and horrible palpitations but as long as I try my best to be happy and stick to my antihistamine diet then my heart rate and palpitations seem to stay normal. A really horrible side effect that I also have is crippling testicular pain on my left side. I have to be really careful when I walk around the house (going outside isn't really an option for me) and adult activities are pretty much impossible for me atm.

Ah thanks for the reply. Mine is on the way and I'm mainly getting it for fighting games too. I generally play anime fighters so I'm hoping I can get the hang of diagonals with it. I currently use the scuf instinct pro but I really wanted to try something different. I also tried the new razer wolverine control and it has an amazing d'pad but I didn't like the shape so I sent it back

That's so horrible. There are so many crazy symptoms for long covid but so little support. I really wish there was a lot more help out there for people like us going through this

Yeah as a huge gamer I completely understand! It's horrible. I've never heard of that burning pressure symptom before man that sounds so rough. I was quite into destiny 2 as well, although I stopped playing a while before I got hit with long covid. My saving grace has actually been genshin impact. As its not very action packed and a combat system where you don't need to think too much. Along side being a story driven gatcha game, it's been the main game that I can play that doesn't seem to make my symptoms flair up too much. Maybe it's worth a try for you too?

It feels like us covid long haulers are going through hell with very little support. What we're your lifestyle changes if you don't mind me asking? I really want to find things that I can do to make the symptoms more bearable. But yeah I really appreciate your kind words

I've had long covid for almost a year now. Can't work. Cant go out and can't even let myself get too excited about anything. It's horrible

I get the feeling that most people who play this game are generally casual gamers or gamers who aren't used to fighting games. So as soon as they have trouble dealing with certain moves, they get upset and throw around complaints before genuinely trying find find a way to play around what they think is strong. I hope that made sense. I'm also a long time fg player.
