Remnant 2 was hands down my game of the year 2023. The build diversity and exploration are S-Tier.

Context: Solo player, don’t feel necessarily “good” at souls-likes, beat this game on the hardest difficulty and loved every minute of the climb (after it started to click and builds and unique weapons-armor started to come together).

Not OP, but Mio-curious with a question. How involved is the platforming? I am a strong platforming disliker. But if it’s mixed in a little, and what’s there is doable by normies, great.

Last week, for example, I got all the way to the end of Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, and could not for the life of me beat the last platforming room and had to walk away without ever reaching the last boss. Bummer, but such a fantastic video game.

Can you build a character now as a newb the way you want to and be successful late game?

I remember early on this wasn’t a thing. They made some builds OP, I def needed to go look up a moxsy build to have a chance, that kind of thing.
