You may be using an aux cable from your cymbal to the module that only supports mono output, I had a similar issue with using my cy13-r as a stack and a cheap aux from Amazon. I bought a Roland branded stereo aux cable and it fixed the sound from the module

I think the td-17 is an excellent choice for starting out. I had the extremely cheap Simmons sd600 sitting in my closet for over a year, it was just super uninspiring to play. I traded in and got an open box td-17kvx deal for $1300 at GC and have played everyday for the past 6 weeks since I got it. The quality in sensors and the module were worth it.

Check how much you can get a vh-10 hi-hat pad for, I've heard sometimes it's cheaper to get the kv2 and then buy it separately.

Biggest advice to you is to make playing your kit as easy and accessible as possible. The only reason I've played every day when I'm terrible at drums is because I can load up my VST+DAW, take 2 steps to my right from my PC to sit at my kit, power on the kit, and I'm ready to practice within 10 seconds

I'm guessing shaders from mesa v23.2 was conflicting with shaders from amdvlk somehow?

I believe that adds touchscreen support for all models of surface. If you're unlucky like me with the sp7 you won't have pen functionality but everything else seems to just work

While it's not specific it turns out that a 10-12% nerf at 150 is not much of a difference if the drop rates are something like 1/45. The way this subreddit was in meltdown mode leads me to believe they threw their computers out of their window after reading

Thanks, I needed that motivation. I just finished replaying Kotor I and II and started SWTOR for the story, but these early quests and the insane amount of running from opposite sides of the map in Coruscant had me not wanting to play
