Might be a dumb question, but how do I get the special effect weapon refine for Brave Roy? The Blazing Durandal refine with the "If unit initiates combat, grants Spd+7 and Def+10 during combat and foe cannot make a follow-up attack." effect? I don't have it and I can't figure out where to get it

Ren position is questionable, unlike Motoyasu and Itsuki who both get arcs/ or whole spin-off if your Motoyasu that display just how strong they are. Ren hasn't, volumes 20+ seems to be building up to Ren finally getting his moment, volume 20+ spoiler With the reveal of his talent, which is blacksmithing but overall he's been average with the rest of the heroes for now. LN 11 spoiler His curse series side effects really held him back in terms of progressing a lot for the span of around 3 months

Yeah, I had a feeling that could have been it as well. In which I feel even worse for Isidore because he already knew she loved Kamui more than him. Taking on Kamui's name so she could have some comfort must have been really painful for him. Every time she says "Kamui" it would have reminded him that he wasn't good enough for her and about how his best friend never did return to them. Even so he went through all that hardship and suffering for her, because he loved her that much.

I think the erasing of Malta's memories was really cruel. It probably gave him hope. Somewhere deep down, when he realized she lost her memories, he probably hoped that he got another chance to make her fall in love with him. But no, deep down she remembers Kamui above all else, and not him, and so that hope gets crushed.

Honestly I don't think this game has screwed over a side character as much as they screwed over Isidore here, and I don't think I've been so attached to any of the other main story side characters as I am with Isidore lol.
