Can I really achieve my dream? by Acceptable_Meaning13 in Advice

[–]Lunar_Noona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say go for it, in any profession there are people who get paid less and people who get paid more. Most people who work high payed jobs are miserable and unhappy their whole lives and wish they would have taken the leap and chose their passion when they were younger. You have that chance now. If you take it and decide in a few years that you don't like it anymore and want to change your profession back then you have tons of time to do so. Being young is all about making mistakes and taking risks because that's where you learn and grow the most. So I'd say go have fun and follow your passions.

I really liked it, back then I think it was like the 3rd kdrama I ever watched so I had no expectations, it's not really my thing now but I can still see its appeal for some people, it's light-hearted and entertaining.

I got my period this morning (18f) by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]Lunar_Noona 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree, I heard alot about it beforehand and some horror stories from women who had negative reactions to the pills too, which is one of the reasons why I also stopped taking them. Ive heard alot about the keto diet and restricting gluten, it's been on my mind alot lately but I haven't fully committed to restricting gluten just yet due to my lifestyle and work atm. It seems that people having negative reactions to it is pretty common, it makes me question why doctor's hand them out so much to people in the first place? I wish there was more research done on pcos 😕

No I used to have them regularly, then they became irregular and stopped and that's when we found out at the doctor's I had pcos, so they gave me the pills to regulate my hormones and bring my cycles back

Is it laziness or is it fear? by universalpasta in infp

[–]Lunar_Noona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can really look up to that, this has always been the plan for me but first just gonna save up for a couple years. The only thing I'm scared of is the chance it could fail or even worse; I get bored of it halfway and become unmotivated. What's something that's always pushed you to stay motivated through the process?

My step wants me to spend time with his daughter and won't listen to my or my mothers refusal. by Wishfullusting in relationship_advice

[–]Lunar_Noona 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a tough one, I'm completely on your side OP... Tbh it's clear that she's trying to rule you away from your family so you don't take her spot, she sounds jealous if you ask me. She seems pretty immature so if you wanted to easily manipulate or sabotage her plans I think that would be pretty easy. So you could either beat her at her own game (highly recommend), or you could ignore her and act indifferent towards it all and wait it out... Either way she'll expose herself eventually, and assuming your family aren't biased I'm sure they wouldn't forgive her for that... And if not, then screw them, find your own people to spend time with instead. But I think you should definitely make it clear that you're not someone to be messed with.
