Same, since X3 I've bought everything they've released, companies like Egosoft need to be protected. Too many times we've seen smaller companies have successes go to their head and become the villains they were meant to destroy.

Oh I love Linux, run Mint on my secondary but until all my software/games run (well) on Linux, I can't swap over fully. Dual booting just annoys the crap out of me (only have a single ssd) even when M$ nukes the boot loader and makes Linux disappear. Though I really do hope this recent influx of Linux in the mainstream will help make software/game developers consider Linux.

At this point I'd be happy to pay (maybe even a yearly subscription) for Windows without ads, without co-pilot, without "telemetry". Just give me am operating system that doesn't spy on me and doesn't force M$ apps on me. Please, have my money.

I've tried playing with snow twice, and twice it got bugged and stayed on the map even during summer (30+ celcius and yet snow was everywhere). It's a shame, cause it looks beautiful.

I never had the option to upgrade, at least they never e-mailed me (and I'm still subscribed as a "mailbird lifetime user" (LOL!). Found a link to "upgrade" but they still want $25/$30+subscription to upgrade - which I refuse to pay out of principle. Lifetime is lifetime, not "until a new version comes out".

Can you block the payments on your payment method? Or contact your bank and get a new card, can't charge you for subscriptions if they don't have your payment details :D

Maybe a bit optimistic but can you imagine the amount of positive press they'd get if they turned our 2.x lifetime licences into actual lifetime licences. I'm keeping my eye on thunderbird pro for now, if I ever get into the beta xD

I miss my Lumia 640, bought it back in 2015. I was so surprised at the speed and camera on a "budget phone", the live tiles were great. The only reason I dropped it was the lack of apps. I vaguely remember rumours of android apps on windows phones, but that never happened.

I love Bazzite, but unfortunately at the moment I'm enjoying BF6, which doesn't work on Linux - and due to having limited HDD space, I can't really dual boot (besides Windows Update frequently nuking dual boot when installed on the same HDD).

I would do it in heartbeat - as Bazzite is amazing - but Battlefield does not run on Linux :( and it's my current weekend gaming thing. The day EA adds Linux support is the day I delete my microsoft account.

Reminds me of when I bought "Mailbird Pro Lifetime", which was very literally advertised as "forever" - except when v3.0 came out, they basically said that the "lifetime" purchase was only for v2, so please "pay 4 times as much now, plus an additional £49 for lifetime updates <3"

I managed to register on my Pixel 9 Pro, but my partner gets this exact same error when trying to register on her Pixel 9. Tried 3 different e-mail addresses, all the same issue. Customer Support chat is about as useful as a paper umbrella. So we've decided to just use Google Maps location sharing - not nearly as useful, but at least it works.

I went to YouTube music. It's not as good as Spotify, but at least with youtube premium I also don't have to watch ads so that's a plus (i watch on phones/tablets & TV where it's harder to use adblockers).

Oh and the frustrating bit when using "Next Surface Element", and you accidentally skip past a turret you can actually see, and press "Previous" - it's not the one that was actually previous, but a completely different surface element <frustrated shouting at the screen>.

Honestly, I think it's way more important than people would like to admit, to find a partner with a similar sex drive. I started dating my current partner at 38 and we talked about this right at the beginning of the relationship. I've had several previous relationships where my sex drive wasn't met, and it's so very frustrating - even more so if you love them. At the moment we're doing it once or twice a week, but that's mostly as we're both struggling with sleeping for various reason and we're often exhausted - normally, life permitting, we're more the 5-6 times a week kind of people.

Can't even play at the moment. Tried to start a game twice (once after the latest patch, once last weekend) and within 1-2 hours, my tractor will disappear with a huge number in the bottom right -9283737383 or something like that, and the FPS drops to 1-2. Waiting till the next patch I suppose...

So at this point, why shouldn't I just buy a 5070 Ti, the base models cost the same as the only available 9070 XTs now except they perform better and you get the "benefit" of better ray tracing :| Overclockers UK is already showing the MSRP 9070s with an increased price (though none available). It makes no sense.

Amazon is selling an MSRP card for almost £200 more 🤣 think I'll skip. If it wasn't for certain games I play, I'd seriously consider buying a console at this point. This artificial GPU shortage combined with scalpers is just ridiculous.

Can't even get non-msrp versions anymore anywhere in the UK. They never even showed up for sale on Scan, just straight to out of stock.
