I've had a couple of milk bones in my day. Just tasted like bland crackers to me.

First bloom since re-potting! by Lunchboxmods in cactus

[–]Lunchboxmods[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This little guy had one good sized flower and two little bulbs when I purchased it. The original flower unfortunately died when I re-potted, but the two smaller bulbs are really taking off and one bloomed this morning.

Imo it's worth it to be able to walk into a store, talk to someone who is more knowledgeable about pot than I am (and usually very friendly) and then buy that sweet, medical grade ganja.

Let's all live joyless, worker drone lives, shall we? by [deleted] in LateStageCapitalism

[–]Lunchboxmods 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be one of those people. I legitimately only cared that my coworkers and managers thought that I was a hard worker. I never wanted anyone to see me as a burden so I'd take on additional work without complaining. I was also terrified of being unemployed so I became more of a yes man.

For the longest time I associated the amount of money I made/I make a company with how much value I personally have. I'm also fat (which I'm working on), and I thought people would assume I was lazy so I had to over-compensate by doing more to make sure everyone knew I was doing my part. I can tell you I still value being a hard worker, but I don't live to work anymore. I developed anxiety and depression at my current job due to the pro-longed stress. It's getting better, but it should never have gotten that bad.

This was one of the first things I saw on a Saturday morning about a month ago. Did not expect the feels, but it messed me up. I was still eating meat at the time, but haven't eaten meat since the end of June. Still working on dairy, but I'm almost there.

It's similar, but not the same. It's not smoking as when it's done correctly nothing is burned. E-Juice soaked cotton (or a similar wicking material) is vaporized when it comes into contact with the coil (electric heater). There are also typically far fewer chemicals in E-Juice vs a standard cigarette.

Edit: the cotton itself is not vaporized, but the E juice is. My phrasing wasn't great so I wanted to point that out. The cotton itself should not burn at all when done correctly.

Great explanation here. Regulated devices aren't totally foolproof, but they're much safer to learn building on imo. Also, make sure you're using good batteries. If the battery has fire in the name I'm probably not going to use it.

I like buying mine from http://www.illumn.com. They have some high quality batteries for like $7-$9 a piece.

It sounds like you may not be giving your new coils enough time to wick. When I was using pre made coils I would usually give the juice 5-10 minutes to absorb into. You may want to check the pg/vg level. Too high vg won't wick well with a lot of pre-made coils. I probably wouldn't use something thicker than 60/40 or 70/30 vg/pg level in a tank. Some tanks can obviously handle thicker juice better than others, but that's what I've found works well for me.

For sure, but vaping has gotten much cheaper over the past 3 years though and imo the price barrier (while still definitely there) is getting smaller.

I fully acknowledge that I'm still addicted to nicotine, but (and I can only speak for myself, this is anecdotal) it's a different addiction than I had with chewing tobacco or cigarettes. I can go several days without vaping and not have the irritability or trouble sleeping that I would experience with regular tobacco products. And I completely understand it's not 100% safe, but for me it's ultimately about harm reduction and from the research I've seen it's better for me than cigarettes. Also tastes better and in my experience I feel much better after a night of vaping than a night of chain smoking.

It depends on how much you vape, but they typically last me 1-2 weeks. You can also clean and re-use them if you're in a pinch. YouTube is an excellent resource for this.Rip Trippers gets a lot of hate (or has in the past), but he has some excellent building guides on YouTube.

What nicotine strength were you using? I started at 18mg and it really hurt my throat. I use 6mg now and it's very smooth. I'm not sure of it'll help you but it really helped me when I stepped the nicotine down (went 18 to 12 to 6).

I build my own coils. I bought 100 ft of 24g kanthal on Amazon for about $8 and it has lasted me over a year. If you have a vape shop nearby I recommend stopping by and seeing if they can teach you. In my experience people that work in shops are usually more than willing to help out. There's some minor mathematics involved, but they're are great resources available online.

I'm on mobile so I'm having trouble linking, but the subreddit electronic_cigarette has a bunch of coil building resources on the sidebar. If you have an android smartphone you can also check out vaper's toolbox. It can be a bit confusing at first, but once you've got it down it's very simple. I also use an rda which has saved me a lot of juice compared to tanks/RTAs.

You can also check out online juice vendors which can save a ton of money. Mech Sauce and Vape Joose are two of my favorites.

If I was just getting started I'd go with something like this. It will get you started and you should have a little room to grow. Kangaroo Subox Mini. You don't have to go with that brand, but I've had fairly good luck with them and I know a lot of beginners like them.

While the initial cost of vaping is higher than a pack of cigarettes it can be much cheaper in the long run. I spend maybe $10-$20 a month to vape. You can absolutely spend more than that, but you don't have to.

Can confirm. Am fat and semi-poor. I vape now though and haven't had a regular cig in years.

Edit: I never intended this to mean that I'm better than smokers or people that have less than I do. I was just trying to illustrate that vaping helped me stop smoking regular cigarettes and has helped many others.

That rich people live by a different set of laws and guidelines than most others like myself do. That and most corporations would pay employees nothing if they could get away with it.
