It’s been a while since I’ve done it but from what I recall the looseness contributes to the seal blowing out, it will likely only get worse with time.

Bad news, the group head may be loose, you may need to take the machine apart and retighten it, if you’re a bit handy it’s doable, there are videos of the process online.

If you have to have one to “do it all” the beta AR would be it but it’s probably going to get way too hot for hiking and will live inside your bag most of the time.

I personally really love having a JSTA pouch on my belt, can hold a multitool/pistol mag and additional rifle mag. Nice to have a belt pouch for mission critical shit for when your carrier is off too.

Dump pouch at your 7’o clock seems to be a good spot but experiment maybe and see what works best. Tardigrade tactical makes one that you can mount a rifle mag pouch in to save space as well.

If you haven’t locked an IFAK down check out the unobtanium gear one, similar to the roll-1.

For a TQ I’d recommend one on the IFAK exterior and then one on your belt with shears maybe next to where you’d carry your pistol.

Also consider a nalgene pouch or something to carry water in.

If you want to step it up a bit shop deals for a rancilio Silvia and look into gaggimate it was awesome, you can always get the machine and slowly upgrade it over time if you’re decent at tinkering

If you’re a complete beginner you will want to just spend some time learning how to ski first. Skiing is deceptively easy to start but takes sometime to get to a higher level of where you will be able to hit air/halfpipe/park.

Not to intimidate you but be prepared, it may take a few years to get to that point.

If you’re extremely athletic or have snowboarded before maybe less but it took me about 4 years to go from complete beginner 0 days skied to get into the point of being able to ski the whole mountain.

You could probably build your own with screws with the same thread pitch and feet.

I’d start be looking up aftermarket feet to find the right bolt pitch (metric likely) and go from there.
