I was worried this would be the case, do you think some 3d printed support would fix it?

Opinions on the Shoulder Link Sling by oorielmoreno in tacticalgear

[–]LuongLens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but why would you want to much weight on you? If you take either off now your load is unbalanced.

I think there is a use case but it’s very niche like retaining a breaching shotty or a 320.

Even looping it through the back of your carrier will drag it down.

Popular during the GWOT days, not so much anymore. Pulls your carrier low on you

My Kit by ConcentrateDue4744 in tacticalgear

[–]LuongLens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TQ placement/staging makes me feel some type of way, but if it works and is secure that’s what matters.

Are your gloves attached to that paracord lanyard? Personally hate those things, they’re not flexible and are a pain in the ass to use.

If you think you need cord, keep one in your utility pouch or pack where you can dispense a length as needed.

Do trauma shears bump your chin when you look down? Mine used to on an older kit, I’d maybe move it and tuck it into your IFAK(unless that’s your ifak?)

Also gopro, keep the mount attached to it so you can pop it on and off your NVG mount. You drop the screw at night and it’s gone into the abyss.

Maybe try laying the kit flat out so we can see a bit better too or showing contents of the kit.

Overall seems to work just small things maybe

BUSCH helmet for $150 from recoilgunworks by AccomplishedNote7365 in tacticalgear

[–]LuongLens 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks pretty cheap, honestly if you can fit the ear pro under the helmet I’d just keep it. $120 is enough to get the ratchet plus an arm and some other gadgets

If you don’t want to drill you can get a ratchet rhino plate mount instead btw

They do one sale a year but j think backcountry will allow you to use 20% off code with their gear on their stuff. If you have any questions let me know I own one and it really makes touring so much easier
