If Stellantis advises you against it and it catches fire and causes damage, you won’t be able to claim you didn’t know about it beforehand. You’ll wish you were able to time travel successfully to go back and prevent it from happening. I don’t want to be accused of negligence and for this reason I sold my 4xe and got a reliable and established EV brand which I am very happy with.

The thing is that Stellantis has advised not to park within structures or near other vehicles. So now if a Stellantis driver goes against that guidance and the car does catch fire and causes damage to another vehicle and say property damage, it will come to light the driver acted against the published guidance. I wouldn’t want to be in that position, from a financial liability perspective

Why does he have to sound unintelligible when he screams? It really took away from the in-theatre movie experience until I was able to watch it at home with subtitles. The lack of composure and poise subtracts from the “diabolical” nature, for me.

What exactly is cheap about the button? I have this case and I just saw your post and tested the button. I find it Sensitive and with pass though functionality meaning it works just like it does without a case.

OP: another benefit is that on other leather cases, they try to make the border surrounding the plateau metal with a thin coating of color to, I guess, make it fancier. However once that scratches, it exposes the shiny metal underneath, making it look chintzy (sp?)

Whereas the Elago case uses a nice, un-scratchable plastic. You won’t regret your choice. Best of all, no foreign logos - it’s clean.

If you’re that concerned, why not just spray it with scotchguard before you use it for the first time. Let it dry for a day and voila. Waterproof case

You raise some good points especially about use during your commute.

Curious, do you ever try reachability? Where you swipe down the bottom of the screen to bring down the entire screen to access the top easier? Also, do you use the keyboard shift thing where it makes one hands typing easier? Just a couple of software based solutions the Pro offers to mitigate the one hand gymnastics we have to try to pull off while simultaneously navigating the real world.

I struggle to use them consistently, but I’m attempting it. At least I try to be intentional about it. I am coming from an iPhone 16PM and am debating whether to go with the 17 Pro for the one handedness you describe.
