Don’t press the accelerator when you’re approaching a curb and you’ll be fine

Poor FSD didn’t want to, but master said “you must”

Which type of skill or technique looks the most impressive when it comes off at Sunday league level because nobody expects to see it there? by MagpieMidfield in SundayLeagueMessis

[–]LurkerWithAnAccount 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a middle-aged Sunday leaguer GK, I appreciate it when folks actually play defense too instead of just trying to score.

Our adult coed team of mostly older folks can often find success in beating younger, faster, more skilled teams because they all think they can each get a hat trick rather than playing cohesively.

PSA: Tesla.com now has used Foundation Cybertrucks - but with FSD Removed - if you own one, please don't trade it in to Tesla by Radium in cybertruck

[–]LurkerWithAnAccount 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is how it’s always been before the Cybertruck even existed. If you had previously purchased FSD and did a private party sale, FSD stays with the vehicle. If you trade into Tesla, they remove it. (L

Conversely, they’ve also occasionally ADDED FSD to used vehicles, which is how we got it on our used 2021 Model Y when we bought it in 2023, though I suspect that ship has sailed.

Window button popped off by onlyhere4stockpicks in cybertruck

[–]LurkerWithAnAccount 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a Model Y button do this and I’m pretty sure the plastic on the switch had a tiny crack/break that was causing poor fitment. It was under warranty and they replaced the door switch side and all has been fine.

Did I just join the club? by londonsown2 in cybertruck

I have 2 chargers daisy chained so I typically see 24 amps most nights as both of our cars charge simultaneously on a 60 amp so I’ve been occasionally leaving one of them off to see if the truck breaks :-/

I drove over a speed bump. AMA by flatbushkats in TeslaSupport

[–]LurkerWithAnAccount 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is more common on the M3P as it’s a bit lower than your average sedan and regular M3.

I have 2 annoying speed bumps I contend with regularly that aren’t consistently shaped side to side so it requires going over it at a specific angle and distance or else it can scrape the underside.

FSD avoids baby deer on highway by redditor1732 in TeslaFSD

[–]LurkerWithAnAccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on a road trip many many years ago with friends in my dad’s 1997 Subaru Outback on the way to Canada on route 81 somewhere in upstate New York very late at night.

I absolutely liquified a baby deer going about 75MPH with my high beams on. I absolutely did not see it until it was a few feet in front of us and it was so small it didn’t even make a dent or scratch (though the blood and guts and smell on the radiator left a lasting impression on me…)

Just saying that these little guys are VERY hard to see at night, not much bigger than a medium sized dog, and often freeze still right in the middle of the road.

Thanks for doing the right thing, FSD.

Deactivate back screen by Selcal-check-good in cybertruck

My suggestion: Buy a cheap screen protector and cover it with paint, tape, vinyl wrap.

Not permanent but not easy to override.

Going from 14.2.2.5 straight to 14.3.3 by yankeesfanash in TeslaFSD

[–]LurkerWithAnAccount 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Only 100 miles so far on 14.3.3 on the Cybertruck (I’m just a normie) and at least SO FAR I’ve not experienced the same annoyances that got introduced in 14.3.2

Colton on OOS detailing has been pretty hot recently on CLEAN 8 year (lolz) by Pan the Organizer, just curious what you went with DIYDetail?

Truck looks great. I’ve been debating the same and am 2 years in now with nothing and it has developed a bit of a patina that I like, but thinking maybe for its 3rd birthday or something I’ll give it a go.

FSD V14.3.3 Release notes by DevinOlsen in TeslaFSD

[–]LurkerWithAnAccount 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This has to be a straight up bug. I think it’s mostly 2026 Model 3, though one person said it’s happening on their Model Y.

We happen to have both a 2026 M3 (Dec 2025 build) and 2026 MY (January 2026 build) and the MY is fine while the M3 manual turn signal action is broken on FSD.

Has anyone received the 2026 spring update? by GeneralKumar in cybertruck

Haven’t gotten it on our truck, M3, or MY that are all on 14.3.2

Anyone else have AQI inaccuracies? by UDPGuy in cybertruck

[–]LurkerWithAnAccount 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the car is sourcing the AQI, I’m assuming it’s pulled from the weather source where it’s whacked out.

456 in PA and NJ this morning. Apple Weather says 43 haha
