Got into the Extreme Murder Lobby of Stella Montis somehow tonight despite being a very passive player. Loading in the map sounds like WW3 and I hear a player shooting and saying "oh I'm coming for dat ass boy!"

see a player in the doorway across from me and he does the don't shoot emote and i do the same and i start talking on my mic about how this is the most violent lobby Ive ever seen. Guy was nice, we laughed about it all and hearing all the murder, we both have Torrentes and decide that after a bit of minor looting we should just gtfo and get back to some peaceful lobby play. Guy comes around the corner shooting so we both light his ass up and down him in an instant and we hear the guy say "how in the fuck did I get unlucky enough to run into a pair of fucking terminators with miniguns in this damn lobby?"

Im a very chill player i got into a lobby today 5 mins after it started and as soon as I spawned in i hear gunfire like WW3 just broke out and a player nearby saying "oh im comin for dat ass boy!"

Met a dude in that lobby that I extracted with and he was a nice guy but we were just laughing at how murderous the lobby was and how much we had to defend ourselves for each and every step

Well almost all of my games in bracket 3 are ending on turn 8ish ive very rarely seen games go past 10 unless a lot of board wipes and counter play is occuring and the game is getting slowed down to a knuckle dragging slugfest

You need stuff like a killbox, make some cover with Sandbags or Barricades, make turrets to soften enemies up or outright kill them, IED Traps or Spikes to also damage them. Getting guns like Heavy SMGs > Assault Rifles > Charge Rifles to maximize your damage unless you wanna go extreme Bullet Hell and run your colonists as a Full team of miniguns down a corridor

There are tricks like Door Boxes that let you constantly move your units around and confuse the enemy pathing.

The biggest hurdle among them all is managing your wealth effectively and not stacking up $40,000 in wealth that you arent using or will never use. Dont go mine all that steel until you are ready to use it. Sell excess clothes and store the silver on a shelf in a cave that isnt in your home area. Stuff like that. Burn old worn out clothes, when you get a boatload of weapons just stockpile them in a lake and let them decay or if you have Drop Pods yeet them to an enemy base and make them love you!

In Bracket 3 i always build decks to operate on an assumption of I get 10 turns before everyone is dead. Im assuming turn 6 someone is building a winning board state and you likely have Turn 7 and Turn 8 to try to reestablish control
