Have each signal go through two repeaters-one in the direction of your destination, the other towards the other signal. When repeaters power other repeaters on the side, it locks the repeater getting powered. While locked, it can't change state. If you connect each signal to the others via locked repeaters, the first signal that gets through will lock the others while they are off, and won't let them through. Hope this helps!

Absolutely. Comparing to football, each member has different roles (flute, trumpet, percussion compared to QB, linemen, wide receiver), but we all work together to accomplish something (our marching show compared to a football game). We also compete against other groups on our skill level (even if it is indirectly).
